  1. Cut a guy we traded a first rounder for? Yikes!
  2. One year guaranteed so he can test market again would seem like a good deal
  3. Are we still clinging to this farce that we gave up a "boatload" for Diggs? That's the first falsehood. The rest is even more nonsense
  4. True story. Whoever said that value would work is a moron
  5. Anyone got anything on Reader? We really need to land this guy
  6. Belicheck has always been the mastermind there. They could absolutely be better this season if he finds the right QB.
  7. We only really give up a late first rounder for the major piece that we've been searching for which in turn will make Allen, Smoke, Beasley, Knox, and Singletary better. They couldn't have done any better, and there will likely be nobody at pick 22 that will be a dominant player...certainly not the caliber of Diggs. Making the move to contend now is also a factor and I love it. It's definitely time, and it all fits together perfectly.
  8. Oh...and you gotta pony up if you want a top playmaker in the game, unless you are dealing with a fool like Bill O Brien. It takes draft capital to land a stud like Diggs, and we had it to use for our biggest need, and to help Josh and let Smoke thrive in a role opposite of Diggs. The offense should now function incredibly well
  9. You are wrong. Diggs makes tough contested catches all over the field and has some incredible moves after the catch. He is also very good at plucking the ball out of the air. It's a very good fit
  10. A 4th rounder next year dampened your excitement? Incredible
  11. I'm fine with it up to a point. With four years left, he doesn't have a ton of leverage.
  12. I'll re-do his deal, but being he's got four years left, he's gonna take less than what he would get based on his production. Add another year, some more guaranteed money, and incentive based numbers to pump it up to look like he's got a top deal.
  13. Hahaha! Diggs is better and on a much better deal
  14. Clowney is as good as it gets from a DE. Ngakoue wants the same money, you have to give up draft picks, and isn't as good. If you don't want Clowney, you don't want Ngakoue either
  15. This one stings. Exactly what we needed
  16. Seriously. Another midget that Allen can whizz balls over his head...no thanks
  17. Yes. I'm in that area, and he was good until he hurt his shoulder, but then missed way more time than expected. I'm ok with him at a modest price, but not alot of guarantees or years
  18. After this contract, I've changed my tune on Dak. Pay him what he wants because he deserves a whole lot more than this guy
  19. ?? Titans will not be scaring anyone as long as Tannehill is the QB.
  20. Hahaha! Seems as if Tommy already overplayed his hand and grossly overestimated himself and what he could get. Maybe he'll try and play the good soldier card again if he goes back to NE for less, but everyone can clearly see if he goes back, it's because he came crawling back with his tail between his legs. Then hopefully we can finish the job and put out to pasture playing his worst football and being our B word.
  21. Baltimore can have a old, declining player on a big money deal. Bills will continue to build with younger, cheaper players that have promise
  22. This tells me they are really gonna go after some wideouts and probably a RB also. We were told they were gonna upgrade the offense, and so far it's been keeping the same cast of characters.
  23. Absolutely. Terrible post from that person I do think there's an argument to be made where you could debate the value between Shaq vs Ngakoue. One is better than the other as a pass rusher as opposed to the run and vice versa, but Shaq has played less snap vs pass rush having more value. Figure in having to pay double for Ngakoue and I actually think I'd rather have Shaq, but that's certainly worth debate. Now Clowney on the other hand is a complete player and game changer. No debating he's clearly the top guy out there, and I'd have ZERO issue paying him 20 mil per year with 60-80 mil guaranteed.
