  1. Are the Giants still looking to trade him? I know they are in a tough spot cap wise but he is one of the few good players they have on the team.
  2. If it leads to a Super Bowl championship then it won't matter if these contracts Diggs, Miller etc etc are horrible on the back end. I will deal with a couple of bad seasons for a Super Bowl win.
  3. It worked out perfectly for the Bills when Hochul took over as Gov. A WNY girl born in Buffalo who is a life long Bills fan. They were never leaving under her watch.
  4. I was thinking the same thing. He has to deal Rodgers in GB but after that then what? Maybe Dak with Dallas? Making the Super Bowl from the NFC will be a lot easier than the AFC.
  5. I would take Allen over Brady as the Bills QB in 2022 and beyond even though Brady is the GOAT. I wouldn't trade Allen for anyone at this point. That's a nice feeling to have as a Bills fan.
  6. That playoff game against SD was my first heartbreaker as a Bills fan. They pretty much sucked throughout most of the 70's so you expected them to lose. If they could have gotten by the Chargers then they would have played the Raiders at home in the AFCCG. They had already beaten Oakland earlier in the year at home 24-7. The only score the Raiders got that day was a pick 6. It would have been a very good chance the Super Bowl that year would have been Eagles vs Bills.
  7. I didn't realize Tre was ahead of schedule. Let me first say I am not Doctor so my opinion on this means nothing but the injury Tre suffered was thought it would take a year to recover. I was just going off of that. I am glad Tre is ahead of schedule. Even if he is ready by week 1 it will probably still take him time to get up to the level of play we expect from him since he last played on Thanksgiving. I don't put much into the Bills #1 ranking on defense. Everybody knows they padded their stats against weak offenses and weak QB's When the played against good teams(Titans, Colts, Bucs, Chiefs) and good QB's what happened. Still think CB is the biggest need. I don't know how the board will fall as their are usually surprises on draft night but I expect the Bills to take a CB in Rd 1.
  8. (10) Zach Kruse on Twitter: "In this, from @BradyHenderson: Seahawks want “something in the neighborhood of two firsts as the minimum” for DK Metcalf." / Twitter
  9. It is our biggest need. Tre isn't supposed to come back until mid season. When he does it will take time to get back up to the level we are used to seeing from him. He hasn't played since last Thanksgiving. No training camp, no preseason, and missing the first couple of months of the season. Right now Dane Jackson is our #1 CB. No disrespect to Dane but he can't be our #1. CB is a need and I think that is where the Bills will go in Rd 1. I wouldn't be surprised if Beane tries to move up if there is a player he really wants and doesn't think he will be there at 25.
  10. You got that right. When the Giants and Jets went from Giants Stadium to MetLife both lost a lot of their waiting list. The Jets don't even have a waiting list anymore as they advertise buying season tickets. I am not sure if the Giants lost all of their waiting list like the Jets but many people either can't or won't pay PSL fees.
  11. Bills had Clemson CB Andrew Booth in for a visit. (11) Ian Rapoport on Twitter: "Top 30 visits: — #Clemson CB Andrew Booth is visiting the #Saints and has #Patriots on Friday. He was recently at the #Eagles and #Bills. — #OSU WR Chris Olave is with the Commanders today and tomorrow, as is SDSU DL Cam Thomas. #Mich St RB Kenneth Walker III is there on Friday." / Twitter
  12. The Bills play GB and MIN at home. CHI and DET on the road this year.
  13. If cap issues lead to a couple of losing seasons it will still be worth it if the Bills win the Super Bowl this year. The parade/celebration would be legendary in WNY.
  14. You don't mess with perfection. The Bills logo is perfect both the current charging and classic standing buffalo. They have the perfect uniforms as well. Although I am not a fan of the all blues and reds. Every other look with the white helmet looks great.
  15. Assuming Wilson takes the next step. If he becomes another Darnold then that would suck for them. Hoping Zach follows in Darnold's failure.
  16. To this day I never understood the obsession with buying TP when Covid hit. I could understand cleaning supplies, hand wipes, sanitizer but WTF was TP going to do against Covid. For a while there it was a challenge to find TP at the stores.
  17. They were in on Hill but I know from the local media that one of JD's top priorities is to get weapons for Wilson. JD has been quoted in the papers as saying that. Which is understandable as Beane did the same thing for Allen.
  18. That is the popular thought here in the NYC/NJ area. Predictions are they go DE with the #4 pick and WR at #10. Draft will be very interesting for the local teams here. Both the Jets and Giants have two picks each in the top 10.
  19. By Mike Rosenstein | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com Joe Douglas wants to find a No. 1 wide receiver for quarterback Zach Wilson. But the New York Jets general manager is finding it won’t be that easy. Douglas already lost out on Tyreek Hill, who the Kansas City Chiefs traded to the Miami Dolphins. Now you can add Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf’s name to the list, according to NFL insider Howard Eskin. Per WIP: “The Jets were going to offer, and Seattle knew it, the No. 10 pick in the fist round. I’ve been told by multiple people when somebody calls Seattle about DK Metcalf (they said) ‘We’re not trading him. We’re not trading him.’ They don’t even take the offer,” Eskin said. “They just say ‘Nope’ and they just shut it right down. You can’t even make an offer right now.”
  20. The Bills aren't paying him to sack Wilson, Tua, Jones or anyone else during Sept thru Dec. Sure they want him to have a good regular season but he is here for what he does in Jan and (hopefully) Feb.
  21. Three more weeks from tomorrow until the draft. It's going to be interesting to see what the Bills do. Do they stay at 25, trade up or down?
  22. One of the best at what he does.
  23. Nice. Keeps our #1 WR happy and more years with Josh to torture opposing secondary's.
