New York Yankees 2022....Aaron Judge sets AL record with HR #62
Greg S replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in Off the Wall
Very true. I know its early but just like last year they can't get the big hit with runners in scoring position. The bottom of the lineup....WOOF! -
Good point. Ok forget the red over white. Actually just win the Super Bowl. I really don't care what they wear as long as they win.

2nd straight subpar performance from Gerrit Cole. He better start pitching like the ace the Yankees thought they were getting if they want to go anywhere this season. -
Speaking of jerseys is there a league rule that won't allow the Bills to wear the red jersey with white pants? I hate the all reds but the red over white would be a good look. IMHO.

A very legitimate source said there were cities interested in taking the Bills away from Buffalo before the team struck a deal for a new stadium. On Wednesday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said via WNYC radio that cities that specifically lost teams wanted to land the Bills had there been a possibility. She went on to indicate that San Diego was one. “I was aware that they were being reached out to by other cities that have lost teams before. That is real,” Hochul said. “My whole life there was talk of them going to Toronto… Buffalo is a very small market. It is quite extraordinary that they have a team at all,” she added. “Because there’s a lot more money to be had in those larger cities like San Diego and others who would love to have a team. So, that’s a reality most people probably aren’t familiar with.” Hochul, a western New York native, would be well aware of the Toronto subject. On March 28, it was officially announced that a $1.4 billion venue would be built for the Bills in Orchard Park next to their current home. The team will be locked into playing there for at least 30 years and will begin in 2026. The building will officially be an open-air stadium with about a 62,000-seating capacity. The Bills and the NFL will front $550M for the project. The $850M total from taxpayers covers 61 percent of the total cost of construction. Other markets that lost NFL franchises in the past include St. Louis and Oakland.

Either this or 38-35. Everything went right for the Bills that day. So it was the perfect day for the Bills and their fans. But that game was over in the 1st quarter and definitely by half. I think it was 41-3 at that point. The comeback vs the Oilers was a HOLY SHEEEEEEET moment. I lost my voice for days screaming my head off that they came back. Its really a toss up between these two games as the greatest Bills games ever. The back to back AFL championships in 64 and 65 was before my time so I can't count those games personally.

(12) NHL Public Relations on Twitter: "The 2023 NHL #WinterClassic is shipping up to Boston where the @NHLBruins will play outdoors at Fenway Park in what will be the 15th anniversary of the first Winter Classic. More info: https://t.co/IIDZ3KdL5X https://t.co/Kyo7Gu4i2J" / Twitter At least they are giving us new teams(sarcasm) to watch in this game (12) Mike DeFabo on Twitter: "It appears the Penguins will play the Bruins in the 2023 Winter Classic at Fenway Park. The long-rumored matchup just makes too much sense, given the team’s connection to Fenway Sports Group. https://t.co/N7R9KXUPVd" / Twitter

Right now I would settle for one and then go from there. But at least get one. This fanbase deserves it.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the Bills have a chance to end the streak in 1979. They lost the opener to Miami 9-7 but missed a FG at the end that would have given them the win.

Bills off-season workout dates: April 19-June 16
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's April 13th so I guess it will be like last year and get released in May. I am in NJ and I want to plan a trip to Buffalo since the stadium only has 4 years left before the new one opens. -
For me I prefer the Rolling Stones over the Beatles. To me the Beatles were overrated. Yes they were talented and produced good music but they weren't around very long. What was it 1964-70 or something like that? Bands like the Stones, Who, Dead, Floyd had more of an impact on classic rock. IMHO.

The Cowboys won't leave the NFCE even though they are in Texas. The rivalries with those three teams are really strong. The league will also keep the Steelers and Ravens in the same division. That has probably been the best rivalry in the NFL over the last 20 years or so.

Didn't want to start another thread so I put this question in this one. When does the schedule come out? Last year it was later than usual as it was released in May. In past years it was released in the third week in April around the draft. -
Have you ever seen one of your teams go all the way?
Greg S replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
Have to think McDermott's seat gets warm if they don't at least make the Super Bowl. They have spent a lot of money this offseason. The signing of Von Miller is a "final piece" kind of move. Its obvious the Bills are all in this year. The media both local/national as well as the expectations from the fanbase will be off the charts. Pressure to win it all is definitely there as just making the playoffs or winning the division isn't enough anymore. -
I didn't even know they had a roof to close. Every Texans home game I have seen was open air. Of course the weather doesn't get all that bad in Houston either. Maybe hot but that's about it.

The celebrating and parade in WNY would be legendary if they do win one. I will drive up from NJ just to be there. I would imagine Bills fans all over will get to WNY for that one as well. -
The Texans don't play in a dome.

Last year Allen proved to be "money" in the playoffs and opened people's eyes around the country of just how good he really is. Allen will win a Super Bowl for the Bills provided they don't **** the bed again like 13 seconds. He was a Jet so I can understand the Bills hatred.
