That would be up to Beane and the Pegula's. But if you want a name then Sean Payton is available just as an example. I don't want McDermott fired but he has to produce with the roster he has. Coaches are in the business of winning and if you don't win then you know what happens. The Bills aren't rebuilding anymore. They are expected to win and compete for a Super Bowl. The pressure is on McDermott this season bigtime. Both from the local/national media and the fanbase.

Says who. Gase was hired first by the Jets and he was instrumental in the Jets hiring Joe Douglas as the GM. Douglas is still the GM. Is Gase still the Jets coach? I am not saying McDermott gets fired if the Bills don't win the Super Bowl. But I do think his seat gets hot as far as questions will start to come about if he can be the guy to lead the Bills to a championship. This will be year 6 of McDermott. At some point he has to produce.

I think McDermott goes on the hot seat if this team doesn't at least get to the Super Bowl. They have the talent to win it. The Miller signing is a "final piece" kind of move. I give McDermott credit for changing the culture of this franchise. I give him credit for 4 playoff appearances in 5 years as well as B2B AFCE titles. But that isn't good enough anymore. The Pegula's have spent a lot money and Beane has given him a roster he should win with. Its time to see the results. To me this is a Super Bowl or bust type of season. I know it won't be easy as the AFC is loaded with good teams/QB's. But if this team can stay healthy then they should be playing in Feb. IMHO

How many prime time games do you think the Bills will play this season?

I wonder how many STH's both the Rams and Chargers have? LA isn't a great football market so even with it being the opener I bet the Bills fans would represent in large numbers. Last year I think every Rams/Chargers game there had a good amount of visiting fans. Some visiting teams had more fans then others but every visiting team had a decent turnout of fan support. -

I wonder if the league will want to embarrass the Rams by having the Bills as the week one opponent. Bills fans would take over the stadium and for the Rams to raise their championship banner it would embarrassing if the majority of the crowd was booing. You know Bills fans will represent big time in LA. -
Who's in the inner circle for Draft Day discussions?
Greg S replied to Commish's topic in The Stadium Wall
At the time they were hired Terry said both men will report to him but when it comes to putting the roster together (draft/FA) that it is Beane who has the final say. When it comes to the coaching decisions(running practices, mini camp, training camp, obviously the games) then it is McDermott. I am sure both talk all the time and discuss strategy of what they want to do but according to Pegs that is how the power structure of the organization goes. -

Last year it came out in the second week of May. Probably the same this year. -

That is the one thing that sucks about primetime games. Stay up late and then (for me anyway) your tired all day at work the next day. I do like that the Bills are getting national exposure. Josh Allen might be the most popular player in the league right now. But when it comes to Bills football the 1:00 start on Sunday afternoon is still my favorite time. -

I would also add the Pats and Fins as other realistic options for a primetime game. -
Sunday Football non-football Pats @ Bills 2011 Fitz Comeback

That was a great game but honestly I don't want to look back at great games during the 17 year playoff less streak. We are way beyond that now since we have our first franchise QB since Kelly. The bar has been raised now as its Super Bowl or bust. -

My guess is they are scheduled for 4 but could get flexed into a 5th one. I think the league rule is a max of 5 primetime games. I don't think teams can have more. -
New Bills stadium deal is bad for taxpayers, according to Yahoo!

Lambeau is like the old Yankee Stadium of football. Definitely want to there as well as Fenway and Wrigley. -

Former Bucs coach John McKay had some classic quotes. Here are two of them. Funny John McKay Quotes When asked about his team’s execution: “I’m in favor of it.” "We didn’t tackle well today, but we made up for it by not blocking."- 162 replies

Chris Berman.... "Rumblin, bumblin, stumblin" -
Wasn't the first one back in 2009 at the Ralph (Pens vs Sabres)? I could see the Sabres getting another one soon once the Bills new stadium is up and running. While Buffalo is known as a football mad city it is also one of the best American cities for hockey ratings wise. If the Sabres can finally have a successful rebuild and become a contender again then I think they are definitely getting one.

Kindly remind them that Mahomes is one of the best QB's in the game and that a 5 year old girl can throw a football farther then Tua.
