  1. I agree with you 100% but unfortunately its the sign of the times. While their are a lot of positives and benefits from social media their has also been a lot of negatives with it as well. These athletes have to watch what they do even if it isn't their fault. I bet that schmuck who took a beatdown from Tyson has probably already contacted a lawyer and will now sue for big bucks.
  2. Speaking of rings I bet she is hoping for another kind of ring from Josh.
  3. Wasn't this one of the main reasons Ralph Wilson didn't want primetime games at home? The rumor/speculation was he wanted home games at 1:00 for the reason you mentioned and mentioned this to the league. It was easier for him to have sellouts for 1:00 games and avoid blackout home games.
  4. Good point. On the positive side to that we will also have Tre back if we do finish the season against them in Feb.
  5. Didn't he tear his ACL in the Super Bowl? I know it was a serious injury and he won't be ready by the start of the season.
  6. I am surprised they haven't looked into getting Mayfield. He may not have lived up to his #1 pick status but he is better then Jones. We all saw how Daboll helped Allen. Whose to say he can't help Baker.
  7. Stay away. The guy can't stay healthy. If Beane is looking at more help for the OL then use the draft.
  8. 9 home (LA has no fans) and 8 away
  9. I would rather get the Rams early, maybe they will have a Super Bowl hangover. It will be a home game anyway for the Bills. I bet at least half the fans and maybe more are Bills Mafia. There are about 12 NFL fans in California and six of them are Chargers fans. The Bills will have then completed the Thanksgiving day hat trick. Played the middle game (4:00) against Dallas, played the late game (8:20) against NO, and now the early game (12:30) against Detroit.
  10. Or they could go with a popular former player like Kyle Williams. Speaking of Kyle I hope the Bills bring in him back to "lead the charge" at one of their home games this season. He really adapted Buffalo as his second home. He also bleeds Bills blue as he was/is very passionate about the city, team, and fanbase.
  11. That is my week one prediction. Bills at Pats on SNF
  12. The first thing to look forward to with the draft is watching Goodell get booed bigtime like he does every year.
  13. Don't forget the AFC is loaded with good/great QB's this year. The entire AFCW will get a decent amount of primetime games. Same with the North. Even though Ben retired the Steelers are always a primetime favorite. In the NFC teams like the Cowboys, Packers will get a bunch because they are popular and good. Then you have big market teams like the Giants and Bears who always get on primetime and it doesn't matter if they are good or not. The Bills will be playing more 1:00 games then you think. But I still think the Bills get 4 primetime games with a chance to be flexed into a 5th one.
  14. I doubt the Bills get 6 primetime games. My guess is they will be scheduled for 4 with a chance to be flexed into a 5th one. While the Bills might get a 4:25 start or two they are an EC team. Bills will still get a lot of 1:00 starts which I prefer.
  15. Peter King's mock has the Bills taking... 25. Buffalo Bills: Zion Johnson, offensive lineman, Boston College One of the very few issues that Buffalo has is at guard where Rodger Saffold is due to start at right guard this year at age 34 and the undrafted Ryan Bates is the likely left guard. To me, Johnson’s the perfect call here because even if Saffold and Bates turn out great in 2022, it seems a short-term fix. In five college seasons—two years at Davidson, one at BC after transferring—Johnson started 49 games. Give me a guy with 36 starts at guard and 13 at left tackle (in the ACC). Give me a guy who was a two-year captain after transferring. Give me a guy who never missed a game in five college seasons due to injury (58 games played in all). He’s a likely interior lineman, which lessens his value slightly. But his intelligence, football acumen and experience gives NFL GMs confidence Johnson can be a starter in 2022.
  16. I think that playoff less streak will be coming to an end soon. Maybe as early as next year. The Sabres have some good young players to build around. If they have a good offseason with FA/draft combined with another year of experience with the players they have should at least have them in the playoff mix next year.
  17. I would appreciate Allen's skills if he played for another team but it wouldn't be the same as it is now. Thankfully he is a Bill. An example of an opposing QB would be Peyton Manning. I loved watching Manning play because he is of the best QB's to ever play. But he wasn't a Bill so I can't say I was rooting for him except of course when he went up against Brady.
  18. When it comes to sports there are two opening days. Start of the NFL season and then everything else. For me personally the NFL season tops everything. After that is the NHL playoffs even though my Isles won't be in this year. Even though I am not a Sabres fan I do think they are starting to get it turned around. They have a nice core of players to build around.
  19. They will get crushed in the ratings if they try to go up against America's most popular sport.
  20. Tennessee just passed a budget giving the Titans $500 million for a new stadium. First the Bills and now the Titans Tennessee passes budget including $500 million in funding for new Titans stadium - ProFootballTalk (nbcsports.com)
  21. I was one of those fans. Shows what I know. Thankfully Beane knows what he is doing and "experts" like me need to STFU when it comes to this stuff
  22. The Giants are another team that really screwed up. They were at #2 and took Barkley. I know he was great at Penn St but a RB at #2. Eli was getting older at that point so looking back they probably should have gone QB. I live in NJ and I tell you it has come up with the media sometimes how the Jets-Giants regret not taking Allen.
  23. There was another team that was going take Allen ( I think it was the Cardinals) so Beane had to move up so they could get him if I remember this correctly. I know the Jets wanted Darnold (LOL) and made the trade with the Colts to move up to #3. Mayfield going at #1 was a surprise as most of the "experts" had Darnold going #1. Thankfully the Bills didn't take Rosen who most ( myself included) wanted them to take.
