  1. I think Terry and Kim Pegula would have something to say about that. Besides GM's and HC's aren't joined at the hip. For example Adam Gase was the one who helped Joe Douglas get the Jets GM job similar to McDermott playing a role to get Beane here. Douglas is still the Jets GM. What happened to Adam Gase?
  2. The Dolphins have the best roster but no QB. The Pats have the best coach but no QB. The Jets on paper built their roster up nicely but its unproven. Also they have no QB. I do think Wilson has the potential to be the 2nd best QB in the division. I am not sold on Tua or Jones. Bottom line the AFCE looks like this. Bills Moe Larry Curly
  3. Why would Beane leave if McDermott got fired? He would probably be the one leading the search for the next HC. With that said I don't see either one getting fired anytime soon.
  4. That will be a hassle for fans who work and/or go to school. You think you have a Sunday game and then all of sudden its switched. Now the work/school thing plays a factor on a Monday.
  5. All kidding aside I really will miss Bills games being played at 1:00. I am happy the Bills are getting national attention but 1:00 starts will always be my favorite time for a Bills game.
  6. You are probably right. I guess the Pegula's marketing research figured they could sell PSL's fees and still sellout a 60K stadium with 50K season ticket holders in the WNY market.
  7. It's really not money well spent. PSL fees are just a way for the owners to financially rape the fans into paying for the new stadium. If its a $1000, $2500, $5000 a seat or whatever the cost is it sucks. I think people can think of better ways to spend that kind of money instead of on a seat they sit in 10 times a year. Add in the fact that the regular cost of season/individual tickets is also going up on top of PSL fees. Unfortunately many people will be priced out from going to games.
  8. Only way he would get fired or the Pegula's might consider firing him is if he lost the locker room (doubt this happens) or the Bills had an extremely bad season like 4-13 or something like that where Injuries DON'T play a factor. Doubt this happens as well. I think he will be the coach for a long time, same with Beane as the GM. Both have done a great job in building the team into a winner and changing the culture of the franchise. If the Bills can somehow win a Super Bowl then that automatically makes McDermott and Beane the greatest HC/GM in Bills history.
  9. Even with Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce plus 3 timeouts it shouldn't have mattered. 13 seconds and the Chiefs have it at their own 25. I will never understand how the Bills blew that game. 23 seconds or so I could see it especially with 3 timeouts. But 13 seconds shouldn't be enough time to get in FG range but it was.
  10. I won't watch a replay of that game. I am not fuming about it anymore as I am looking ahead to the 2022 season. If the day comes when the Bills win a Super Bowl (hopefully Feb 2023) then I will be completely over wide right, MCM, and 13 seconds.
  11. (13) New York Islanders on Twitter: "#Isles News: The New York Islanders announced today that Lane Lambert has been named Head Coach." / Twitter
  12. If he wants back in the game I would suggest starting off as QB coach. He probably could work his way up to OC. If he is really good at coaching then he could probably get a HC opportunity. He is a smart guy and knows football. But his days as a player are over. His last year he looked shot.
  13. LOL Toronto.
  14. WTF. That is just sick and wrong. Sadly I am not surprised given the way many in society are.
  15. As a Bills and Isles fan now I have another reason to dislike Zach Wilson. Not only is he a Jet but he was cheering for the Rags last night.
  16. Is that really sustainable? At some point these teams have to play in their own markets. Curious to see if the NJ team plays at MetLife. They probably won't come close to filling it but I am curious if they can fill the lower bowl.
  17. It did this to both the Jets and Giants crowds. Back when the Jets played at Shea and Giants Stadium both teams had strong fan support. Now many of the real fans have been priced out. Its a corporate crowd now and their are also a lot of empty seats at these games. A big reason for that is both teams suck but PSL's still drove many of the fans away. MetLife offers no homefield advantage for either team.
  18. I am surprised if it does. It looks like nobody is at these games. When it comes to football the only leagues fans care about are the NFL and CFB. All of these other leagues seem to fail.
  19. I could see both the Colts and Titans getting in and only 2 teams in from the north. The AFC is really loaded. There will be some good teams on the outside looking in when it comes to making the playoffs.
  20. Agree. I am not even so sure they make the playoffs. The west is loaded. My pick is LAC for the division. I could see KC fighting for a WC spot.
  21. That does seem high. I would take the points.
  22. Hopefully the front 7 led by Von can help our secondary out especially if Tre is out. Stafford or any other QB isn't dangerous if they are eating turf with the ball still in their hand.
  23. The Ravens in Baltimore will be a tough game. That game will probably be a one score game from start to finish.
  24. Not to mention flying across the country. The Bills couldn't have picked a better week to go to LA. Then they have 11 days to get ready for the Titans.
