Niners’ Kittle advocating for two bye weeks
Greg S replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it will eventually be an 18 game regular season with 2 preseason games. I know fans think preseason sucks (and it does) but coaches use it to evaluate players in game situations especially rookies and players who are fighting for roster spots. I don't think they will get away from preseason completely. Look on the bright side preseason = start of tailgating season. -
Congrats to the Jets and their fans on the big important simulation win over the Bills in June. I guess the Bills will have to settle for taking the two games played this fall.

I could see the Giants wanting to move on from Barkley. He will have a cap hit of over 7 million this year. Gettleman ****ed them so bad that they are in cap hell. Plus they are starting a rebuild with Schoen/Daboll so trying to get out of cap hell makes sense. Why would the Chiefs do this trade. Barkley is damaged goods at this point.

Just have to respect their privacy. It's a medical/health issue. Why would she post online or tell what is going on to the media when its a personal issue. I am sure the Pegula's will announce something when they feel the time is right.

I'm sure glad Josh Allen is our quarterback

Same here. I was in the Rosen camp. Thankfully Beane knows what he is doing because most fans (myself included) don't have a clue. -

I would add the Giants as well. Eli was nearing the end so they should have thought about taking a QB. Even though Barkley was amazing at Penn St you never take an RB that high in the draft. -
Not surprised Tampa won. I figured they would get one at home. I am surprised it was a blowout. This makes game 4 interesting.

New York Yankees 2022....Aaron Judge sets AL record with HR #62

First team to 50 wins this year. 50-17. Lets Go Yanks! -
Since we are talking all sports what about Muhammad Ali?
-
I would add OJ's 1973 season. 2,003 yards rushing in just 14 games is a record that will never be broken. You got me on the stats but with Brady I am going off just winning games. He was the driving force behind the Pats dynasty.

If we are going to replay certain plays from old Bills playoff games then I would rather watch Bill Simpson's INT in 1981 WC game that stopped a furious Jets rally and saved a Bills 31-27 win at Shea Stadium.

Brady has.

(20) Heather Prusak on Twitter: "Von Miller on working with #Bills second-year defensive end Greg Rousseau: "It's like polishing a diamond." Miller says he doesn't try to change guys but rather help them get better. Rousseau along with Boogie Basham and AJ Epenesa attended Miller's annual pass rush summit. https://t.co/oONIgCUeHW" / Twitter

Agree, especially since its a popular time for vacations. Vacations always go by really fast.

I doubt it will. The top talent will always go to the NFL. Between the USFL and XFL both leagues will get players who couldn't make it in the NFL.

Our 3 rivals qualify as QB needy teams. He would be an upgrade over Tua, Jones, and Wilson. If the fish had a QB they could challenge the Bills as their roster is pretty good.

The Avs are so fast and relentless. I can't see TB winning 4 of 5 now. Maybe they get a game at home. I originally thought TB would win but now I would say Avs in 5.

This will be "fresh start" #3 for Darnold. If he isn't considered a bust then I would say backup/poor man's starter. Darnold isn't a FQB and never will be.

We aren't that far away now. About a month until training camp. Preseason a couple of weeks after that.

Feeling like Bengals might be "Top Opponent" this year
Greg S replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ravens had a lot of injuries last year. If they can avoid any devastating injuries ( same goes for all teams) I think it will be between them and the Bengals in the North. The Bengals did improve the OL which was an issue last year so they will be good as well. I agree with you that Burrow will continue to get better. As far as young QB's go I think Allen, Burrow, and Herbert will be the next wave of great QB's over the next decade or so. Allen being the best of course -

2-0 on this 13 game tough stretch. Nice way to start. 30 games over .500 at 46-16. Let that sink in for a moment. Lets Go Yanks!!! -
His age is a concern. I hope they can find common ground that is fair for both sides. He is going on the north side of 30. Deal or no deal I would expect Beane will be looking at safety's in next year draft. Probably not Rd 1 but they are going to need to find his replacement soon.
