Just my guess but I have the Bills winning the east and the Chargers winning the west. If KC makes it to the playoffs it will be as a WC. Any playoff matchup between the two would be in OP. Again just my meaningless opinion.
Speaking of TNF I hope I don't get shut out with that. I have Directv (Sunday ticket) so I hope they will still show the games on the NFLN otherwise I am SOL.
I wonder if Lawrence plays a series or two tonight. Football is back so I will be watching even though the game will probably be a typical sloppy, boring preseason game.
I think you will see the starters on offense play more in the preseason than they usually do for the reasons you just mentioned. Nobody wants to see anyone get hurt in a meaningless preseason game but at the same time they need to get used to the offense (players/Dorsey calling a game) as much as possible before week 1.
Football tonight. Jacksonville and Las Vegas at 8:00. I don't care that its preseason. Football is back and that is what counts. 9 days away until 8/13/22 Colts at Bills
They need to get some reps against a real opponent. Injuries can happen at anytime so might as well put them in for the preseason. There is no substitute for game action. Practicing against your own defense when they won't hit you will not help against the Rams..

New OC some added wrinkles to the offense. I get nobody wants injuries in TC and preseason but they happen. I don't want the offense looking out of sync either on opening night. I wouldn't play them to much just a couple of series but they need the reps with a new OC to get ready for week 1.
The AFC is loaded so there are going to be good teams who miss out. Here is my take on the AFC.
East - Bills
North - Ravens
South - Colts
West - Chargers
WC's - Chiefs, Broncos, Bengals.
The Rams did release their entire uniform schedule for the season. Pretty obvious if the Rams want to wear white then the Bills have to be in blue. No way they were wearing the POS looking reds week one in primetime. I think the reds are only used around Thanksgiving anyway.
Nate Peterman was one of the greatest preseason QB's of all time for the Bills. We all saw how that worked out. So glad we have 17 and don't have to worry about QB issues anymore.
