Let's not make Sofi out to be Arrowhead. Crowd will be split. But the two teams are evenly matched. Two things I worry about here. Can the Bills keep Donald from dominating? He will make his plays but they can't let him takeover the game. The other is can our secondary without Tre do a good job. Stafford is a very good QB and the Rams have good WR's. This game really is a tossup.

It was a general statement. The population in CA is declining as more and more people can't afford to live there. That is a fact.

They are losing more than that. People are leaving the state in record numbers. To live in CA you have to be extremely wealthy. The middle class and poor can't afford it anymore. You see so many homeless people living on the streets especially in Pelosi land (SF).

Beane did address the DL this offseason with more than Miller. I expect the Bills to be tougher at the LOS which should (hopefully) mean they will be better against the run. I also expect a better pass rush. This defense probably won't finish with the #1 ranking again but they will be better than last year's defense which was a paper tiger. We need Tre back ASAP. Our secondary will have their hands full tonight no doubt as well as against other good passing teams. Beane has to address the OL this offseason no matter how the season plays out. Allen covers up for them with his scrambling ability to avoid the rush. It should be a fun ride. There will be highs and lows this season like every year but Bills should be the favorites to come out of the AFC. As long as injuries don't play a factor but that applies to everybody.

Those first 7 games though are tough. 3 of the first 4 on the road. If they come out of this 5-2 or better we will be in great shape. 4-3 would be OK anything less is not acceptable. Still think the Bills floor/ceiling is between 11-13 wins. at LA, TEN, at MIA, at BAL, PIT, at KC, GB.

One of the best comments from a Jets fan in the "Josh Allen" thread... Not to the level he's been helped by his coaching staff and surrounding talent in Buffalo, no. But the kid has 3 things you can't teach: 1) Ridiculous athleticism that goes beyond just his arm strength; 2) Physical and mental toughness; and 3) A seemingly maniacal desire to improve his game. Those elements contributed heavily to Allen becoming one of the most unprecedented Year 3 turnarounds in NFL QB history. Sam Darnold had none of those qualities. He was and is a soft, boogie boarding b*tch. I don't blame the coaching all that much for his failure. He was always destined to head down that road. We were duped by one great game he played as a freshman in college. We ignored the many red flags in the pursuit of a FQB.

I disagree. I think he is doing an outstanding job as HC. The Jets should sign him to a 10 year extension.

The Browns have a better roster and Brissett is a decent QB for a backup. At this point I think he is better than Flacco.

I wonder if they call SF about a possible trade for Jimmy G. He can't be happy being the backup to Lance. He would also be better than what the Jets have on their roster.

The first 4 weeks of their schedule is against the entire AFCN. Those teams are pretty good at getting after the QB. Not good for an old guy like Flacco. Week 1 - Ravens Week 2 - at Browns Week 3 - Bengals Week 4 - at Steelers

I can't post the article but the New York Post has their AFC East preview/predictions article out today. They got the Bills winning the division with a 12-5 record.

I am surprised Irvin picked the Bills over the Cowboys in the SB. Everything with him is Cowboys this and Cowboys that every year.

I can't see his 1973 record 2,003 rushing yards in 14 games ever being broken by a Bill or non Bill. At least not in today's passing first league.
