A "credit to the Jets - that's a good team" thread
Greg S replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can the league flex the Jets at Bills game which is scheduled for 1:00 to SNF. The SNF game right now is Chiefs at Broncos. I realize the Chiefs are a popular team for primetime but Denver blows. There are 2 other games that could get flexed, the Eagles at Giants or the Dolphins at Chargers. My guess is Eagles at Giants if they do flex KC at Den out of SNF. But Bills and Jets could be a very big game with the AFCE on the line. -
Bills need to learn how to “win ugly”

Well Jets fans are experts on top notch QB play. Wilson, Darnold, Sanchez etc etc. Probably not too many left who were around to see #12 -
Sorry for Frank Reich. He seems like a really good guy, but I am not surprised by this news

If they (Bills-NFL) thought Allen had a concussion, they would have him tested especially with how the Tua situation was handled. Josh is struggling right now but I would guess it has nothing to do with a possible concussion.

No Breece Hall either. No matter how the season plays out Beane has some work to do. OL, another playmaker on offense to help Diggs, DL as they need to get bigger and tougher at the LOS. Still, this is a 6-2 football team. We have a good team, but they rely on Josh to do more than he should. Beane needs to get him some more help.

Grateful Dead. I prefer the 70's. To me they were at their best in the 70's. Most Deadheads will tell you 1972 or 1977 were the best years of this decade. My favorite year was 77. The 80's were good as well with Brent Mydland on the keyboards. To me the band lost the 'it" factor when Brent died. Never really cared for Vince on the keys although they did have their moments when Bruce Hornsby was playing with them. To me the 90's had to many "misses" than "hits as far as concerts went.

You should see the media here in the NY/NJ area with TV, newspapers, WFAN. You would think the Jets won the Super Bowl. All week leading up to this game you could tell this wasn't another game to the Jets. All of our divisional rivals are getting fired up to play the Bills since they have been the top team for a couple of years now.

I still say they win the Super Bowl. They are 6-2 which is a good record. Despite the bad play for the past 6 quarters, we still had a four-game winning streak going into yesterday. The 0-2 in the division is a concern. Buffalo is going to have to run the table at home in the division. Maybe they can also get a win in NE to go 4-2. Still have the edge for homefield but the margin is zero against KC. The division is now in play as the AFCE is one tough division. I think the Bills will find a way to get to 12 or 13 wins. So that means 4 or 5 losses. Hoping it's enough for the division and #1 seed.

This isn't the same as the Jags loss. Jacksonville was a bad team last year and with Urban Meyer as their HC. I hate saying this, but the Jets are good minus the QB. I don't think JD did this with the Bills in mind or maybe he did, but he built a roster that matches up very well with Buffalo. The Jets are going to be a pain in the ass for the Bills. The rematch in Buffalo will be another close one.

Can we talk about how 2 teams in a row ran it down our throat...
Greg S replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's right. For some reason I was thinking Jets. I am not expecting an easy game ( I never do) but the Bills should win here. They are home coming off a loss and Minnesota is playing a 2nd straight road game. They just got by Washington. In OP I would be surprised/disappointed if the Bills aren't 7-2 next Sunday around 4:00 -

I can somewhat understand the GB game as the Bills didn't want Rodgers to beat them but yesterday come on. That last Jets drive where they started at the own 4 and marched right down the field and they had many good runs in this game. I understand injuries play a factor but everybody has to deal with injuries so you can't use that as an excuse. These last two weeks reminded me of last year when the Bills defense would get whipped at the LOS. Frazier better figure something out and quick. Minnesota will not be a pushover although I do think they are a paper tiger 7-1 as they really haven't beaten anybody. -
The Jets have built a team that matches up very well with Buffalo. Their secondary can hang with our receivers. They can pressure with their front 4. They can run the ball. Imagine if Breece was playing yesterday. The Jets are going to be a pain in the ass for the Bills. Thankfully Wilson sucks because if he gets good then the Jets will really be a major problem. JD has built a solid roster.

So, looking at the week 14 rematch I wouldn't be surprised if Jets at Bills gets flexed. The SNF game that night is KC at DEN. Denver blows so that game losses its appeal even with Patrick. Other possible games that day Eagles at Giants and Dolphins at Chargers are the other 2 I could see getting flexed. I hope it's not the Giants game as I am going. Would rather be at MetLife at 1:00 then at 8:20.

We had our four-game winning streak snapped. It happens. Some people really believe we were going to run the table and 17-0. Or they will go at least 15-2 or 16-1. It's hard to do that especially with injuries. You know that saying the NFL is a "week to week league". That really is a thing as you see it play out all the time. What sucks here isn't the fact that we have 2 losses. 6-2 is a nice record. It's that they are divisional losses that's what really sucks. Bills must run the table at home against the division especially the Dolphins and Jets.
