  1. I'm supposed to see Guns N' Roses at MetLife on July 18th. I doubt that happens.
  2. I forgot where I read it ( I think it was Chris Mortensen) but the rumor was when the NFL schedule comes out that the divisional games will be backloaded in case the NFL has to go with a plan B reduced schedule with a later start.
  3. Speaking of training camp and the off-season. I would think teams like the Bills have an advantage being that McDermott is going into his 4th season. Same OC/DC so the players know the system and schemes that are in place. Team has already built up a lot of chemistry with one another which helps considering they won't have much time on the field now. No mini-camp, rookie camp, OTA's. Diggs while a vet will probably need some time to develop chemistry with Allen and the offense in general but he will probably get there quickly. I would imagine every team will have a hard time getting their draft picks up to speed with so little practice time before the season though. At the other end of the spectrum is Giants rookie HC Joe Judge going into his first year in what will be a major rebuild. It's hard for a first year HC in a normal offseason but with this being difficult times it only makes his job that much harder.
  4. What about tennis. No fans just the ump and the two players. Social distancing could work for that as well.
  5. I would hope before summer. We are looking at global recession now but how long it will last depends in part how quickly the world can get moving again. I don't know if it will be later this month (I hope so but I don't think so) but I would like to think by May some businesses start up again. Large gatherings like sports and concerts will probably be the last thing to open up. I haven't heard any official announcement but the NHL/NBA 2019-20 season has to be finished. Baseball might get a shortened season in. I would imagine they would need 2-4 weeks of training camp before starting the season. Hoping a full NFL season can be saved.
  6. True but we will have to see where we are in July. Cuomo said yesterday that the worst is over for NY. Is he right, I don't know but he is updated daily on the numbers with this thing. If football isn't played this fall and we don't have some kind of normalcy then we are much bigger trouble then just having no football season. At some point the world has to start moving again.
  7. TV absolutely sucks without sports. I get that their are much more important things going on in the world like people getting/staying healthy, people going back to work and getting the economy going but it does suck without sports. If training camp can start on time then I think the season starts on time. Otherwise a delayed start or cancelling is possible. Fortunately some of the greediest people on earth are NFL owners. You know they will move heaven and earth to get as much of that 15-16 billion in revenue(in a normal year) that they can.
  8. To me the biggest thing with this is it spreads easily. I am not worried for myself. I am in pretty good shape and have a strong immune system. I just wouldn't want to get someone else sick who may face a worse case scenario. What I want to know about is why are people stocking up on TP? What the **** is so special about TP. I could understand beer, hard liquor if you are forced to stay home but why TP?
  9. I think football has a season but it may very well be without fans. We might not get back to normal as far as going to games, concerts, other large public gatherings until their is a vaccine. That probably doesn't happen until 2021. Who knows?
  10. It's not just football as construction on the Isles new arena was put on hold. The Isles were going to play the 20-21 season at Nassau anyway as the new arena in Belmont won't be ready until the 21-22 season.
  11. Do the Bills even have a home jersey anymore? Last season the first 5 home games they had a different look. Home game 1 - was white on white current Home game 2 - blue over white Home game 3 - all blues Home game 4 - all reds Home game 5 - white on white throwback. If they insist on wearing the red jersey then then they should do red over white. Both the all reds and all blues look like crap IMHO.
  12. To me 1977 was their best year. If anyone is trying to get into the Dead I would suggest 5/8/77 Barton Hall, Cornell. Many say the best Scarlet/Fire ever. This show gets all the hype and for good reason as it was an excellent show but the next night 5/9/77 in Buffalo at the Aud was just as good IMHO.
  13. I have been ordering from all the restaurants anyway for takeout/delivery. I do this Fri, Sat, Sun. This way I only the eat the food I bought at the grocery store 4 days a week. I go longer without having to go back to the grocery store which is a pain in the ass right now to go to. As far as big events go I am supposed to see Guns N' Roses at MetLife on July 18th. I haven't seen or heard anything about it being postponed/cancelled but I imagine it will be.
  14. If we are going to compare QB's I would be more interested in Allen vs Darnold. He is the guy the Bills will face twice a year every year. Both of them will play an important part in the Bills-Jets rivalry over the next 12-15 years if things go well. Let the Browns and Ravens fans compare Mayfield vs Jackson. Allen and Darnold could be another Kelly-Marino which would makes for some exciting matchups between the teams.
  15. The Bills will pay him. Beane has said many times that he wants to build thru the draft and resign our own players. Tre is definitely one of the core players on the team. Also many players have said they love what Beane and McDermott are building here and they want to continue to be a part of it. Team is on the upswing and playing in a football mad market like Buffalo makes it fun for everyone involved in the organization.
  16. Yup. I bet when the schedule comes out the NYG who have been a train wreck for some time now will get just as many prime times as BUF.
  17. https://nypost.com/2020/04/08/geno-smith-unloads-on-snake-rex-ryan-after-random-jets-dis/ Now Rex Ryan and Geno Smith.
  18. If Allen improves like we all hope and think he will then this offense will be dangerous. They have enough weapons for Allen and combined with an elite D I expect big things this year. A playoff run at minimum. Everybody says the Bills have a tough schedule and the travel is tough. I think the teams on the Bills schedule are saying the Bills will be one the toughest teams on their schedule as well. 10-6 AFC East champs and a home playoff game is my prediction.
  19. No thanks. Watching Bills losses in real time sucks. I don't need to see a replay.
  20. I wonder if they will go back and wear the blue over white throwbacks? They haven't used those in a while. At the end of the day who cares as long as they win the game.
  21. I don't like the ATL on the front of the jersey.
  22. That's because they have one of the worst in the league IMHO. The Bills will never have to change as they have one of the best. Just lose the all blues and all reds. Every other uniform combo is perfect.
  23. https://www.buccaneers.com/news/bucs-new-uniforms-draw-super-bowl-era-2020
  24. The league brings in about 15-16 billion in revenue and most of that is because of TV. No way Goodell and the greedy NFL owners want to piss that away. The NFL will move heaven and earth to find a way to have a season. If it means no fans then so be it but they will want to make as much as they can. If the government gets involved and says their will be no sporting events allowed then that is a different story. In that case then the season will be cancelled.
