  1. Didn't the Giants go the WC route with Eli. I believe they had to win 3 road games to get to the Super Bowl as well.
  2. On the flip side Ben is 38 and has had his share of injuries. He is obviously a first ballot HOF but injuries and age might be catching up to him now. I wouldn't be surprised if he is not playing when the Steelers come to OP.
  3. McDermott's poor record against top teams isn't that surprising. Both he and Beane had to rebuild the team where they were starting at a point with 17 straight years of no playoffs. This year is the 1st year of Beane/McDermott where the Bills have a team on paper that can beat the top teams. If McDermott fails to beat top teams this year then he should face some criticism.
  4. I would go with the Ravens. How much does Ben have left in the tank? Can he stay healthy for a full season? What is he 38,39?
  5. The Bills and their fans are better off at New Era. As a Bills fan living in NJ (also a Jets season ticket holder) I can personally say new stadiums aren't all that great. MetLife is a POS. Every Jets/Giants fan that I know would take Giants Stadium back in a NY minute. The cost of my seasons going from Giants Stadium to MetLife went from $1700 to $3700 per year. Enjoy New Era as its one of the few places where real fans can still afford to go to the games. Both the Jets-Giants lost a lot of their fans from attending as it became to expensive. Many who go are part of the corporate crowd. Neither team has a homefield advantage anymore. KC renovated Arrowhead. Chicago did the same to Soldier Field. Why can't the Bills do the same to New Era?

  7. He made a mistake and he will pay the price both with the actual law and emperor Goodell's law. Hopefully he learns from it but a young guy in his early 20's who is a multi-millionaire as well. I am actually surprised we don't hear more stories like this in the world of pro sports.
  8. If you want to watch a Pats-Bills game then this 1981 game is a fun one to watch. This was the Ferguson to Hooks hail mary TD in the final seconds for the win.
  9. Are you allowed to buy? Even though I am a Bills fan I am also a Jets STH. I have my payments charged to my credit card over 4 months. The first payment I was charged but the last 2 months I received an e-mail from the Jets saying they were suspending payments to my account. The Bills might not take anyone's money right now given the times. A co-worker of mine is also a Giants STH and he said the Giants are doing the same thing.
  10. Even though I am a Bills fan I am also a Jets season ticket holder. As far as leaving the stadium goes next time tailgate for an hour or so after the game and let the crowd thin out. For a 1:00 game we get back to the car about 4:30. Tailgate till about 6:00. At that time you have no problems getting out as the traffic is completely gone. Assuming of course you don't mind hanging out after the game.
  11. If the Bills would have lost in week 1 then they would have played their starters in week 17. I don't think the Jets would have beaten the Bills in OP in this situation. Most likely the series would have been a split anyway.
  12. If he did I think this board would go after him like a great white goes after a seal.
  13. The Bills are over. In the NFL, you only get a 2-3 year window to make a run once you break through with a playoff season. After that it's back to the dark ages. Last year was it for them. The Bills window is closed. They'll realize this in 2021 when they get rid of McDermott and Allen. SAR Check out the above quote from this jets fan on their Jetsnation board. LOL
  14. What's to complain about. Watching both fan bases go back and forth on message boards is somewhat entertaining. Its not like anything else is going on in the world of sports. I mentioned this before but if Allen and Darnold both reach their potential then we will probably have a Kelly/Marino situation all over again. The Bills-Dolphins rivalry was fun to watch during those years. Battling for the division, meeting in the playoffs. If we can have that with the Jets then that would be great especially if the Bills win.
  15. Obviously winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate goal but for me I would like to see Games starting in September and fans packing the stadium ( I know this may be unrealistic but for now I hope this happens) Bills win the division. Smack the Jets twice. I live in NJ so I deal with Jets fans (family members, friends, co-workers) so sweeping them is always nice for me. Bills playoff game at New Era. Bills need to win in the playoffs. Going one and done isn't acceptable anymore.
  16. Looks like someone's feelings are hurt. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/152113-they-are-mocking-us-in-buffalo/
  17. I expect a sweep over the Jets this season. The one thing I will say is Joe Douglas appears to be a good hire. He will probably do for them what Beane has done for us. It's going to take him more than one offseason to fix that team. I hope they give Gase a 10 year contract extension. He is a "great" HC.
  18. Make it 4th. After the last 20 years I think Bills, Jets, and Dolphins fans can all agree on this.
  19. Who is Darnold throwing to? Anderson isn't there anymore. Our DL/LB's will(should) dominate their OL. Their OL has some new parts and it will be hard to develop any consistency with what figures to be very little practice time this off-season. I think they will have a hard time running the ball because of that. Their D with Williams is good but Allen has more weapons to work with in Singletary, Brown, Beasley, and Diggs.
  20. What if the season gets cancelled ( I think they will play with or without fans) now Brady at 43/44 in 2021 and two years removed from playing. That would be a tough situation to overcome.
  21. Good point and your choice for owner/GM/coaches(Ralph is a given) is what I would make also. Maybe an argument can be made for Knox. He did a good job. I still think if they could have held on against the Chargers in 1980 divisional round then they probably would have gone all the way that year and played the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
  22. As long as Gase is your HC things will never be promising.
  23. Bruce, Jim, Andre, Thurman. Ralph needs to be on it as well. Without him their is no Buffalo Bills.
  24. It will be interesting to see how loyal Pats fans remain once their team declines. For a while the Pats were 4th behind the Sox, B's, and Celtics in local interest. But football's popularity has exploded these past 30 years or so making it the undisputed #1 sport in America. We will see if these past two decades of winning if NE has built up a real fanbase or not.
