  1. Nice. Next get one done for Beane.
  2. That would make the draft held around the same time mini-camp takes I believe. It will be crazy no matter how they do it. It will be extremely difficult for the CS to get draft picks ready to play for the 2021 season considering they won't have much time to learn the playbook and get much practice time in with the new teams.
  3. I know it will probably never happen but I always thought Buffalo should have a MLB baseball team of their own. I know its a small market but WNY has a great and passionate fan base which is obvious with the Bills and Sabres. Teams like the Marlins, Pirates, Royals don't draw that well. Buffalo would definitely do better than those teams. It would make for a nice rivalry with the Blue Jays.
  4. This is the one good thing about a messed up draft is that it might **** up the Jets and their selections with their two 1st Rd picks. All GM's will have a tough time if there is no CFB this fall.
  5. I thought SEC was still trying to have a season. I think you will see no CFB this year.
  6. It's disappointing that there won't be CFB but not really surprising.
  7. How about just Saturday/Sunday games. No Monday night or Thursday night. Have a 1:00 , 4:00 and 8:00 on Saturday. Rest of the games go on Sunday. Then you have 5 days Mon thru Fri where there is no game during this COVID season. No short weeks for anybody this year.
  8. Forget the Patriots. Take a look at these stats. Since 1970 the Steelers have a regular season record of 444-282-2 (.635) and an overall record of 480-305-2 (.635). They have made the playoffs 30 times, won their division 22 times, played in 16 AFC championship games, 8 Super Bowls, 6 Lombardi Trophies. Since 1969 they have had only 3 head coaches, Chuck Noll 1969-91, Bill Cowher 1992-06, Mike Tomlin 2007- present. I want the Bills to try and follow the Steelers way of doing things. They not the Patriots are the real model franchise to follow.
  9. Even though the Rangers are an original 6 team, play in MSG, and have an extremely large fanbase, they aren't a high profile team with the NYC media. The media here could care less about hockey. When it comes to sports in the NY Metro area its all about the Giants, Jets, Yankees, Mets, and Knicks.
  10. I thought it would be like that as well. While its certainly different given the times you still want your team to win. For me with the Isles and the NHL playoffs I will be cheering them on like I always do. When the Bills kickoff against the Jets it will be the same thing. I will be cheering them on just like I would during a normal year.
  11. McDavid wears an Oilers sweater and how is that working out for them in terms of winning. The Rangers have a good young team already. I give them credit as they have done a nice job rebuilding their team. If he pans out then its great for the Rangers but lets see how he does. Some picks are successful and live up to the hype (Peyton Manning) others don't (Ryan Leaf).
  12. I'm an Islander fan and you can enjoy the #1 pick. I will enjoy Isles-Caps playoffs. One more day until they drop the puck.

  14. Having CFB in the spring would be great for the fans. It would give us our football fix while the NFL goes thru its long offseason. I wonder how it would affect NFL organizations in trying to get ready for the draft.
  15. Some nerve racking moments in the 4th quarter but Bill Simpson with one of the biggest INT's in Bills history. I was there and it was my first great Bills memory. The game shouldn't have been as a close as it was but an exciting win just the same.
  16. Danny Bonaduce from the Partridge family
  17. That's a great question. Buffalo has great sports fans that love both teams. IMHO I always think of Buffalo as a football mad city first. I would say the Bills but I am sure a Stanley Cup in WNY would be a great time as well.
  18. Beane and McDermott have done a lot in 3 years. Two playoff appearances and a 10 win season. This coming off 17 straight playoff less seasons. Winning a playoff game is the next step. I think that will happen this year assuming we get a full season.
  19. Not going to the games is what I will miss the most. Tailgating before the game is a big part of it as well as being in the stadium.
