Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speaking of the Cowboys I actually may watch Inside the NFL this week just to see everybody laugh at Michael Irvin. Even that blabber mouth won't be able to talk up his precious Cowboys this week. Its Monday morning now and I still think Cleveland is running up and down the field. What did they have over 300 yards rushing. Great defense their "America's team". -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football

If they cancel the Titans game then the Bills have 10 days between the Raiders game and Chiefs game. Meanwhile KC will be playing 3 games in that same time period. -
Postgame Thread: Bills at Raiders
Greg S replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great win yesterday but I couldn't understand why the Bills would hand it off after they recovered the onside kick. Take a knee 4 times and go home. The famous Giants - Eagles game from 1978 when the Giants ***ed up the end and Herm Edwards scooping the ball up and running it back for a winning TD came to mind. Allen stumbled as well on that handoff which made me really nervous on that play. Anyway great to be 4-0. I know the Bills started 5-0 in 1980 so it would be nice to do it again 40 years later. -

I would be shocked if the next home game vs KC isn't blue over white. -
Could you just imagine if the Bills and Chiefs can win their next two games and that sets up 5-0 KC vs 5-0 BUF. Obviously its one game at time and the focus is on Vegas but if 5-0 vs 5-0 happens with Allen and Mahomes then what huge a game in Buffalo. Just bummed that 72,000 couldn't be there for it. FOX would be loving it though as TV ratings around the country would be strong for this one.

White on blue is a good look. All of their uniform combos are nice except the all blues and all reds. -
If anyone should be forced to forfeit then it should be the Raiders. They ****ed up not the Bills. The game will be played though unless their are positive tests between now and Sunday.

In the NY Metro area both the Cross Bronx and LIE are much worse. -

Raiders always wear black at home. Bills were always going to be wearing white this game. -
I hope not. My nerves can't take another game like last week.

21-0 Bills halftime. 24-21 Raiders late 4th. 28-24 Bills final.

I would rather the D gets their act together with Allen throwing for 300+ and the Bills dominating on the scoreboard. If they are going to get by KC/BAL/PITT come playoff time then we will definitely need the D to step up.

But remember that Darnold is better. Jets fans say so and they are the most intelligent fanbase in all of sports.
-
As a person he is a POS but you can't deny his accomplishments on the field. He is considered one of the greatest RB's in the history of the game. He also has the record for most yards rushing in a single season. Sorry Eric but 2,003 yards in 14 games >>>>> 2,105 yards in 16 games.
-
True to expect 300 + yards and 3-4 TD's every game is unrealistic but their is no reason he can't be a franchise QB like Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger etc etc, Sure their will be days when he has a bad game or the numbers aren't there but that happens to every QB. Josh has all the talent to be top QB in this league.
-
Why? He is getting better. You can see the game is slowing down for him. He is doing a much better job reading defenses and being smart in where he goes with the ball. If anything I think he may run less. He is to important to this team to keep taking unnessary hits. Who knows what numbers he will put up going forward but he has all the talent in the world to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl and go on to have a HOF career.

Talks underway to allow fans in Bills Stadium
Greg S replied to Bangarang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would have been fun to see 72,000 in the stands. Everybody would have been going nuts for the first 2 and half quarters. Then major booing would have occurred. Then the place would have gone absolutely bonkers on that final drive. -
How many 4th quarter comebacks does he have already in his career? He seems to be at his most impressive during crunch time. We haven't had that from a QB since the days of Kelly.

Didn't Chris Johnson say Gase was an offensive genius who was taking football where it needs to go? I don't know about that but he is taking the Jets to where Bills fans want them to go. I hope he keeps his job but living 20 minutes from MetLife I can tell you Gase is a dead man walking from all the media reports. At this point its not IF but WHEN he gets the boot. If the Jets lose Thursday night vs the Broncos then there is a good chance he is gone with GW taking over for the rest of the season.
