I’m warming up to the JJ Watt idea
Greg S replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills can sign for a deal that makes sense for them then I could see it. I would prefer a one year deal. His health is a concern but coming here playing for a contender maybe he can give the Bills a solid season. -
OPINION: Mitch Trubisky should be Bills' backup quarterback

Definite upgrade over Barkley. -
Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

But those first two years in 80 and 81 Cribbs was to those teams what Thurman was to the early 90's teams. I still think that 80 team would have gone to and maybe won the Super Bowl that year. Unfortunately Ferguson played the playoff game vs SD on one leg. -
Week 1 2021 NFL Season Schedule Prediction
Greg S replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even with Mahomes in there the Browns were still giving them a good game. Besides its always nice to see the Bills to start off the season 1-0. I would rather the Bills start the season against a **** team like the Jets. -
Week 1 2021 NFL Season Schedule Prediction
Greg S replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The NFL would be better off putting the Browns at Chiefs week one. The Browns gave the Chiefs a good game and might have pulled off the upset if that WR didn't fumble the ball at the goal line. The Bills basically got their asses kicked by KC both times they played. -
Week 1 2021 NFL Season Schedule Prediction
Greg S replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WEEK 1 - NYJ @ BUF. The NFL likes these two to play week 1 for some reason. The Bills will wear all white at home like they having been doing for the past few seasons pissing off the Bills should always blue over white at home crowd. -
Spread is what 2.5 - 3. Take the Chiefs and give the points. Grandpa I mean Brady isn't winning a shootout against Mahomes. If he throws 3 INT's again this will be a KC blowout.

Is anybody talking about the 2021 schedule?
Greg S replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree. Have to wait until the draft and FA are over to get an idea of how tough the schedule can. Even then injuries take place in training camp, preseason that could change everything. -

They have tasted it in the summertime when they watch their POS Royals play. -

Greg S replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills and Jets have opened against each other 14 times in their history. From a Jets POV they have started a season against the Bills more than any other opponent. I know this because despite being a Bills fan I am a Jets season ticket holder. Last year before their week one matchup the Jets sent out a tweet to all season ticket holders saying this. -
Congrats to your wife and Coach Rivera. Cancer sucks. Hopefully one day cancer can be defeated and everyone can beat it and get healthy.

The Bills will probably open up against the Jets AGAIN. I think these two have played three out of the last 4 openers against each other. For some reason the league likes to have the Bills and Jets play week one. -
Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
Greg S replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Jets could put a better offer on the table than Miami. Either way their is a good chance he lands in the division. -

During that time (Pats dynasty) I bet nobody from the division made it to their top 5 rivals list for them. The Ravens, Colts, Steelers, Broncos, and even the Giants were their biggest rivals. The Bills, Jets, Dolphins were three little speed bumps the Pats drove over six times a year on their way to winning the division. Thankfully times have changed. -

Don't know if they have what it takes to make the trade but the Saints should be all over this. Brees is done and they have a strong team . They get Watson they are the favored to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next year. -

Chiefs home schedule for 2021 (non-division opponents) is the Bills, Browns, Steelers, Cowboys, Giants. They could go with the Browns. A playoff rematch from a competitive game. It doesn't matter if the Steelers, Cowboys, Giants are good or bad. Those teams always get on primetime. Big market and/or teams with national appeal that bring in strong ratings. The Bills are certainly in the mix. They will definitely get their share of primetime games. -
Who do I blame? CLEVELAND!!
Greg S replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Chargers have a talented roster. Justin Herbert looks like the real at QB. With the good coaching I could see them giving the Chiefs a good battle for the division -

The Browns can run the ball and get QB pressure with their front four better than the Bills. That helped them stay in the game. If that receiver ( I forget who) didn't fumble the ball at the goal line the Bills might have played the Browns. -
Simple when NE and TB play, root for what's best for the Bills, and that's a Bucs win. Divisional losses by the Pats, Jets, Dolphins is always a good thing.

Brandon Beane end of season press conference 1/27 11am
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What would you want him to say? He isn't going to reveal his plans going forward. He isn't going to throw anyone under the bus publicly. Beane and McDermott are pros at talking a lot but saying very little. -

Exactly. Look at the Bills teams of the early 90's. They were just as successful passing the ball as they were running it. Thurman was the key to the no-huddle. When he was having a good game that made Kelly's life so much easier throwing it to Reed, Lofton etc etc. Allen will be much more dangerous with a strong running game to compliment him. Plus you need to be able to run the ball at certain points in the game. 3rd and 1 to convert a first down. Have a lead late in the 4th you want to run it and control the clock. Sure its a passing league and Allen throwing is definitely a focal point of the offense but running the ball will always be needed. -
What if the Bills had scored before halftime?
Greg S replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KC was/is a better team right now. The Bills had a fantastic season but their is a gap between the Chiefs and Bills that Beane/McDermott must close if the Bills want to beat KC in the playoffs. Even if the Bills scored a TD before half they still would have lost the game. KC outplayed them. Simple as that. -
How can the bills afford Diggs and Allen

Not surprised. We all knew the Cap would go down. -

Curious to see what the salary cap will be next year. The league did take a financial hit this year. -
Was that our easiest playoff loss to take?
Greg S replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think anything playoff loss is easy to take as it puts you into a long offseason. If I had to pick one I would pick Jacksonville a couple of years ago. That Bills team wasn't very good but they got in at 9-7 with some help from the Bengals. I was just happy to see them get in and end the streak. I had no expectations of a playoff run that year.
