We have free agency in March then the draft and 2021 schedule release in April. It's a long offseason.

Season tickets selling fast?
Greg S replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope so. I miss going to the games. Of course safety for everyone comes first. I am not worried about it for myself but I don't want to see anyone else get sick either. Curious to see what attendance will be like for baseball over the summer. If fans can attend baseball games then that is a good sign for football attendance returning to normal. -
Season tickets selling fast?
Greg S replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably right as who knows what the capacity will be. But even if things are back to normal I would expect the Bills to be sold out for the season. The team is really good with a bright future and it will be two years since the fanbase has been inside that stadium when the season starts. People miss the games and tailgating. -
It wasn't that long ago the Bills were in the same boat. The Pegula's need to find the hockey version of Beane and McDermott. The Bills are the perfect example as to what can happen when you have the right people in charge. If the Pegula's can find that for the Sabres then they will become a good team again.

There is talk/rumors about GB being one of the favorites to land Watt. Last time I checked GB weather is no better than BUF weather when it comes to cold. Like you said these players are getting millions so they will go where the money and the chance to win is. I bet Watt is interested in Buffalo as he wants to win. Beane and McDermott have built a winning culture and that gets noticed around the league.

It's not like they would have to live in Buffalo all year round. They could afford multiple homes. I am sure Watt will keep his home in Houston. With the exception of Dec and Jan is it really that cold in Buffalo during football season. If Watt is helping the Bills win big games in Dec/Jan nobody will care about the cold including his wife.

SB TV ratings. NFL got their dream matchup Bucs/Chiefs, but

Why not do away with the halftime show. The NFL doesn't do it for all the other games leading up to the Super Bowl. Football fans are going to watch the game because of the game. Nobody wants to watch some talentless scrub put on a **** halftime performance. -
Happy Birthday Jim. I feel old, I remember his first game against the Jets in 86. The Bills lost but Kelly played well, and you knew brighter days were ahead.

My guess is Lloyd Bridges. Have no clue on the kid

NY Post has the Bills as one of four teams that make sense to go after Watt along with Pit, GB, TB.

Early 2021-22 Schedule Thoughts & Primetime matchups
Greg S replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would like them start against the Jets on a Sunday at 1:00. Good chance they get off to a 1-0 start with a division win as well. While I enjoy the Bills getting primetime games I still prefer 1:00 games. -
I would like the red jersey with the white pants. I think that would be a sharp look just like the blue over white. All reds looks terrible.
-
The uniforms are nice but I never liked the red helmet. The white helmet is better IMHO. What we have now is great except for the POS looking all blues and reds.

Could the Bills take on his salary? He does have a history of injuries. Beane should definitely kick the tires on this but to me this is buyer beware. He isn't the player he used to be.

I think the "GHOST GAME" killed Darnold's confidence. If I were the Jets I would move on from him. Even though the Jets are a terrible organization, Darnold still makes the same poor decisions that he was making as a rookie. I don't think he has what it takes from a mental standpoint to play QB at the NFL. This year will be his 4th year in the league and he hasn't established himself as a solid starter yet. For example Allen has shown he has the "IT" factor, Darnold has not.

I will call it 7 months before the season starts. Week 1..... Jets at Bills 1:00 start. Jets in green over white. Bills in all whites just like this past season. -
Most of Brady's Super Bowl wins came when he was 37+

Just a hunch but I think Ben's 2021 season is going to be like the last one Peyton had. -

The Jets are coming off a 2-14 season. If Joe Douglas has a strong offseason and if they get Watson then I could see them getting a primetime game or two just because of their big market NYC status. The Giants who suck almost as bad as the Jets will definitely get primetime games. Big market team and they are one of the NFL "favorite franchises" given their long history in the NFL. -

The last two years it was the Bills and Steelers on SNF. Maybe SNF gets that matchup three years in a row. My guess is four primetime games when the schedule is released with the possibility of another one being flexed into primetime. I think the Bills and Dolphins is a solid bet for a primetime game since the Dolphins are the Bills biggest challenge in the division. -

Barry Bonds = steroid head during that time. So his stats don't count or at least have an * next to them. I hope Josh can have half the success Brady has had in his career. -

Limited attendance for starters. He mentioned how things worked so well for the Bills playoff games as to a reason they can do this.

I enjoyed this past season even though I wish the AFC championship game had a different outcome. Definitely looking forward to seeing what moves Beane makes to make the Bills a better team. The future is bright.

Bills fans are a little underrated nationally. Everyone knows Bills fans are a hardcore bunch. Everyone knows WNY is crazy for the Bills. Everyone knows about Bills mafia. But from a national standpoint the media/fans always mention the Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, Bears, Giants are teams with national appeal that bring in strong ratings. This past season proved the Bills belong in that group despite being a small market team. All of the Bills primetime games this past season had strong ratings. Wasn't the Cowboys-Bills thanksgiving day the highest rated on turkey day. Dallas plays in that game every year but it took the Bills being in it to bring up the ratings. Bills fans also travel well. I can tell you as a Jets season ticket holder the Bills have always been well represented at Shea, Giants Stadium, and now MetLife. If the Bills had made the Super Bowl the ratings would have been a lot higher IMHO. -

I agree with you 100%. 1:00 games are great. Get to the stadium and tailgate all morning. Watch the game and then you get home at decent hour. My guess is the Bills will get four primetime games when the schedule comes out in April. Some of them will be at home. Getting to the stadium on a work or school day can be a hassle. Getting home late and having to wake up early the next day for work/school is not fun. Have to get used to it with the Bills being a very good team.
