  1. Winner!
  2. Has its benefits as I get to see the Bills live every year. Plus watching the Jets lose and their fans get pissed/depressed is actually enjoyable. For me born on LI and Dad( Jets fan) got seasons in Namath's rookie year. I had the tickets put in my name when he passed away. I became a Bills fan because OJ was my favorite player growing up. That was when OJ was famous for the right reasons.
  3. Even though I am Bills fan I have Jets seasons. I usually make 4 payments on my credit card starting in March. My Jets rep said they will be starting a month later than usual this year because they want to wait to have a better idea of what NJ will allow the attendance to be. My guess is every team including the Bills is in wait and see mode. Hard to sell seasons if you don't know what percentage of fans will be allowed in.
  4. Good guess but no. Here is another clue. Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton did movies about this show.
  5. Nicely done to whoever made that.
  6. I think Kyle would have been around if it wasn't for the virus. His first year after retirement he was at training camp working with the DL as an "honorary coach". Kyle may be from Louisiana but he is hard core Buffalo. I bet if things are normal this summer he will be back at training camp working with the players. He probably will also be at some games as well. He always spoke about Buffalo (team and city) with such pride. I bet he wishes he could still play after last season's 13-3 record. He would have loved to have played last year.
  7. Here are some clues: 1. She was on a very famous TV show in the 60's 2. She passed away in 1969
  8. I don't mind him either. Both he and Michaels are SNF as they have been doing the games for a long time. I expect they will be doing at least two Bills games next season.
  9. When I see articles like this or hear rumors/speculation I just remind myself what Beane and McDermott are really like with the media. They don't say anything of importance. I laugh when I here their press conferences with the media. Its blah blah get better blah blah have to do well in the draft and FA blah blah we will look at every opportunity to improve the team blah blah. We won't know a damn thing until it happens. Beane and McDermott keep a tighter lid on things then the FBI. Actually every team does except teams that have had Rex Ryan as their HC.
  10. I can't see it either. This is still a business and many of these players careers get cut short. Josh is going to get a big day. The Pegula's pay Beane the big bucks to let him figure out and negotiate how much it will be.
  11. This upcoming season will be one of the easiest for the marketing department in a long time. Besides coming off a 13-3 season, going to the AFC championship game, and having a franchise QB, the fanbase hasn't been in that stadium since Dec 2019 except for the lucky ones who went to the playoff games. If things are normal I would bet the Bills get around 60,000 season ticket holders for the 2021 season. Fans miss going to the games and tailgating.
  12. I don't think he gets Mahomes money as he hasn't won a Super Bowl. I would guess if it gets done this offseason it will be similar to Watson. If it doesn't happen this offseason and the Bills win it all next season then Pegula will be paying him in the Mahomes range.
  13. What if Watson ends up on the Jets? They would be better but they still have to many holes to compete for a championship.
  14. I hope you right and I will get vaccinated but I am waiting as people who need it more than me right now go first. I will probably go sometime in the spring/summer.
  15. I wonder if they will allow tailgating? Hope so but having thousands in the parking lot before the game drinking while not wearing masks or social distancing could be an issue. I hope everything can go back to normal as I really missed going to the games and tailgating this past season.
  16. I think he goes home. Went with GB.
  17. Sadly most of the 1970's and definitely 1984-85 that type of attendance was the norm in Buffalo. Even though I am a Bills fan I am also a Jets season ticket holder. MetLife with the PSL's drove many of the Jets-Giants season ticket holders away. When it was Giants Stadium both had 78,000 season ticket holders. The Giants had a season ticket waiting list of around 100,000 with the Jets having one at about 20,000. Even the worst attended games were still sold out. I don't remember a Jets or Giants home game being blacked out to the local area.
  18. Larry Brooks on Twitter: "Breaking news: Panarin is taking a leave of absence from NYR in aftermath of political hit piece against him from Russia alleging that he beat up an 18-year-old girl in Russia in 2011." / Twitter
  19. Anyone watch the Lake Tahoe games over the weekend. The background was awesome with the lake and mountains. You had some great scenery. But the NHL needs to stop having these games during the day when the sun is out. It causes problems that can be avoided. I realize the league will want to have outdoor games at stadiums again with fans but they should make a game at Lake Tahoe a yearly event. One game on a Saturday night around this time with different teams playing every year.
  20. If the money makes sense I would like to see the Bills bring back Fitz. He is better than Barkley and Fromm.
  21. I am surprised they haven't changed the name from Rock and Roll HOF to Music HOF. Many who are getting in now have nothing to do with rock.
  22. Probably have to wait until after FA and the draft to better answer this question. As of now in the AFC I would say Bills, Ravens, Chiefs win their divisions. The south will be between the Titans and Colts. I could see the Dolphins and Raiders in the mix for a playoff spot. Steelers could be in the mix but if Ben declines then all bets are off.
  23. As a Bills fan who is a Jet season ticket holder ( I live about 20 minutes from MetLife) I can tell you both the Giants and Jets went thru their respective waiting lists with the move from Giants Stadium to MetLife. Many couldn't or wouldn't afford the PSL fee. I have two seats. At Giants Stadium I was paying $1700 for everything (tickets, parking pass). At MetLife I now pay $3700 for everything (tickets, parking pass, PSL fee). For the people of WNY I hope Rich Stadium, Ralph Wilson Stadium, Bills Stadium lasts a long time. You don't want a new stadium for what it will cost you.
  24. You would think given the success of the Bills that they would follow the same model with the Sabres. Different sports but you still need a strong management team in place. The Pegula's know they have that with Beane and McDermott so why not try to find that with the Sabres. I don't follow the Sabres that closely (Isles fan) but if Kim is calling the shots then their is no hope for WNY's hockey team.
