  1. If the Jets move on from Darnold then I could see Pitt being one of the teams interested.
  2. Agree, the league should go back to 15 minutes and keep the rules as they are. I also think the NHL should get rid of the skills competition and go back to ties if neither team scores in OT. It's stupid for a team sport to be decided like that.
  3. Tom Pelissero on Twitter: "#Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's new contract for 2021 utilizes a signing bonus, minimum base salary and voidable years to free up about $15 million of cap space, per source. Big Ben takes a $5M paycut, from $19M to $14M, giving the team much-needed breathing room." / Twitter
  4. How long has it been since the Jills were around? I don't see or hear anyone saying they want them back.
  5. I am curious to see how Eagles fans will react to this. Didn't they boo and throw snowballs at Santa years ago.
  6. The perfect example for the Pegula's to follow is Robert Kraft. He lets Bill run the show and has been rewarded with a dynasty over the past 20 years. Kraft does nothing except sign the checks and watch the games in his press box. Terry should do the same expect he might want to avoid getting his "Jimmy" waxed in massage parlors like Kraft likes to do. I doubt Kim would stand for any of that.
  7. Sorry for your loss. Condolences to you and your family.
  8. Josh has improved so much from his rookie year its been to fun to watch. I think he is going to have a similar type of career with the Bills that Ben has had with the Steelers. That is a couple of Super Bowl championships and a team that is usually in the mix for the division and playoffs almost every year. Especially with Beane and McDermott leading the way.
  9. The Washington Football Team is turning in their cheerleading squad for a coed dance team By Lauren M. Johnson, CNN Updated 2:15 PM ET, Wed March 3, 2021 Washington Football Team cheerleading squad will be replaced with a coed dance team. (CNN)Starting next season, Washington Football Team (WFT) fans will no longer see a traditional NFL cheerleading squad on the field, instead, they will be entertained by a coed dance group. The franchise is removing its cheerleaders from the field after 50 years as part of its rebranding effort, which include dropping Redskins, and a re-imagined approach to fan engagement and game day experience, according to a news release. The team has hired, Petra Pope, who has a background in NBA entertainment, to be the new senior adviser for the team's game day experience. Pope told ESPN that the WFT wants to create a "more modern franchise" focused on diversity and inclusion. "The NBA has long embraced innovative dance and halftime shows, but most NFL teams have remained more oriented towards traditional cheerleading programs," Pope said in a statement. "Fans can expect an experience like none other -- a gender-neutral and diverse squad of athletes and dancers whose choreography, costumes, props, tricks and stunts will rival the best entertainment across genres and really inspire and 'wow' our fans." The team's president, Jason Wright, who was named the first Black president in the NFL last year, said in a statement that the team's aim is to create entertainment similar to what fans find at an NBA game.
  10. If that is true then the Pegula's are idiots. How dare Beane and McDermott go out and build a team that won 13 games and the division. How dare they get this team to the AFCCG. How dare they build a team that has league wide respect and is considered one of the favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl with a good chance of winning it next season. As for the Sabres the Pegula's need to do one of two things. Sell the team and just focus on the Bills. Bring in someone who knows what they are doing and let them run the team. They may not want to give up control but seeing how well the Bills are doing they might want to do the same for the Sabres. It has to be the right hire. See how the Isles have fared with Lou Lamoriello and Barry Trotz in charge. It wasn't that long ago when the Isles were struggling just as badly as the Sabres are now.
  11. Can't the Bills play the Jets 3 times. It would be fun to get an extra game to kick the crap out of them.
  12. For the GM's/HC's/scouts this has to be one of the hardest drafts to prepare for. Many conferences, teams, players opted out last year.
  13. Didn't they give both McDermott and Beane contract extensions. I think the Pegula's know they have the right people in place to run the Bills. They need to keep signing the checks and let Beane and McDermott continue to lead the Bills.
  14. They definitely need to improve on both sides of the ball. Defensively they weren't as good in 2020 as in years past. Offensively they struggled to run the ball all year. With that said the Bills do have the franchise QB, and a solid receiving corps. To make it say the Bills are "way far" away makes them sound like the Jets. I really hope Beane focuses on building the lines on both sides of the ball. They have good players at the skill positions but if they can improve the lines then I think this team has a Super Bowl run in them with a good chance to win a championship. Better pass rush and better run blocking are the key for next season.
  15. 13-3 division champs and a run to the AFCCG and we are way lacking in talent. Yes they suck blow it up and start from scratch.
  16. If he comes here and can be a difference maker not only with his own play but help free up other players on our D by taking on double teams then I am all for it. I trust Beane will find a way to give him a fair contract for both him and the team.
  17. Why not cut the preseason in half to two games and go with an 18 game regular season. 17 games is just plain dumb.
  18. It's strange how the Pegula's got it right with the Bills but continue to strike out with the Sabres. The Sabres need a Lou Lamoriello type to come in and take charge of the franchise. Look at what Lou has done for the Isles. For the longest time they were a joke but with Lou and Barry Trotz they have turned it around. The Sabres desperately need that type of change at the management level. You don't even need to look at the Isles just look at the Bills with Beane and McDermott leading the way.
  19. He does have the "real" record for rushing yards in a single season. OJ's 2,003 yards in 14 games >>>>> Dickerson's 2,105 yards in 16 games.
  20. Upgrading the pass rush and OL are the two areas Beane should focus on. On offense I would like to see them more balanced especially since the Bills are a cold weather team. They need to get better running the ball when the situation calls for it. Late in the game and you want to kill the clock. Picking up a first down on 3rd or 4th and 1. The lack of pass rush is another obvious need. The AFCCG showed that. How Beane does it via FA and or draft I don't care but improving the OL and pass rush is a must. IMHO
  21. Nice attempt but I would address the OL higher than Rd 6. I think Josh's ability to scramble and avoid the rush makes our OL look better than it is. We couldn't run for **** last season. But overall a nice mock draft.
  22. In 2021 he is done. At this point he has definitely lost more than a step. I wouldn't mind him as a RB coach. He definitely could teach Singletary and Moss a thing or two. If the Bills want to move on from them then their is always the draft.
  23. Shady was done in his last year with the Bills. We might as well see what Cribbs is doing. If Shady wants to come back to Buffalo and McBeane approve then I wouldn't mind him coming back as an RB coach but not as a player.
