Dead and Company announce summer tour, including four shows in New York state
Greg S replied to Logic's topic in Off the Wall
Looking back at the "Fare Thee Well" shows I was surprised they didn't come to the east coast. From Boston, NYC area, Philly, Washington they were especially successful and popular. I get the SF shows (hometown) and Chicago (last shows with JG) but they really should have done some EC shows. IMHO -

I have seen them a bunch of times in the NYC area (MSG, Citi Field) and they were always sold out shows. -
Bills -14 vs Texans is the largest spread of 2021 Season
Greg S replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If its still a 14 point spread at game time I would probably take the Texans. The Bills should win comfortably but you always have to worry about those garbage time TD's that lead to a back door cover. This isn't CFB where blowout wins are the norm. In the NFL I hate giving that many points. -

He's a 4th year veteran whose had success both in the regular season and playoffs. He is also very familiar with Daboll's offense that he could probably call plays in his sleep. You can also tell he's much more confident in the pocket as the game appears to have slowed down for him. I expect him to have a great season this year.

Is anybody talking about the 2021 schedule?
Greg S replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both Miami and NE improved. The Jets also improved but they still don't have a team that should beat the Bills. It's also hard to go undefeated in the division since rivalry games are usually close. Even the Jets last year played the Bills tough. I hope they go 6-0 again but I doubt it. -

I have 4-2 in the division losing once to Miami and NE. I have road losses at KC, TEN, TB as well. My guess is 12-5 -
Our defenses got their asses kicked in the Super Bowls. Against the Giants they couldn't get the ball back to the offense. Wash and Dallas just physically manhandled them. Although the 9 turnovers or whatever it was in the 1st Dallas game didn't help.

Josh is now going into his 4th year in the league. Two of those years had packed stadiums. Maybe Josh did get keyed up but he is a young veteran now who has gotten better every year. Fans or no fans I think Josh will continue to improve. He is also maturing as a player (one would assume) so he should do a better job keeping his emotions in check to the point where it doesn't hurt the team. Everything you hear or read about Josh from coaches and teammates is all positive.

I root for the Bills only but in other games (AFC Only) I root for whatever helps the Bills. I don't care who wins or loses in the NFC. This year I hope Herbert and the Chargers can beat the Chiefs so that can help the Bills get the #1 seed in the AFC and homefield advantage since KC is the Bills biggest conference threat.

Citi Field in Queens, NY. I am there. -
And yet I bet the gas prices won't come back down.

Jones because he is on NE and Bill is the GOAT HC. They have a better team than the Jets

10 teams get five primetime games -- Bills not one of them
Greg S replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pitt and GB aren't large markets but they have been getting a lot of primetime games for a long time now. Both have strong national appeal and bring in ratings. The Bills are like that to but the only difference is Pitt and GB have been winning for a long time now while BUF just started to have winning seasons again. -

Wasn't the Bills-Cowboys game the highest rated Thanksgiving day game ever or at least in a very long time. They also had strong ratings last year in primetime. That definitely is noticed by the league and networks. -
Bills open as 6.5 point favorites vs Steelers week 1

I don't remember what the spread was but what about last year when we opened against the Jets. -
Are we becoming to Miami what New England was to us??
Greg S replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right now I want a Super Bowl win. Start there. If after 10-15 years of AFC East dominance and a few Super Bowl wins later (hopefully) then maybe we can be mentioned with NE as far as dominating the division goes. -

4 primetime games is nice. Like many here I do like the 1:00 start best. At the end of the day the Bills could play at 3:00 AM on a Wed night and I wouldn't care as long as the Bills win. -
Have all the times for the Sunday games been set yet? If not its possible we get some 4:25 starts despite being an EC team.

Division game on the road plus you know their players and coaches haven't forgotten the beatdown the Bills put on them last year. The revenge factor could be in play here. As much as I want the Bills to go 6-0 in the division I think it will be hard to do. My guess is 4-2 or 5-1.
