You said my point perfectly "Can't teach an old dog new tricks" That is exactly what I meant. You are correct in your point as well. They would have adjusted their game if the rules were in place back then.
-
Sure they would have but the rules protecting players didn't apply back then. They all learned how to play the game very physical. Like I mentioned Ray Lewis commented on that he would struggle with today's game given how he learned how to play the game. I would imagine it would be the same for other players from that era like Bruce who was also a very physical player in how he played.

A few years ago on Inside the NFL Ray Lewis commented that he couldn't play in today's NFL because of the rules protecting the QB and not hitting a defenseless receiver. Ray said he would be flagged for unnecessary roughness on just about every play. I would imagine players like Bruce Smith, Reggie White, Ronnie Lott and other players from that era would struggle with the rules of today's game. They all played in an era when you could hit people and really knock the **** out of them

Also didn't THE ROCK buy the XFL and he is trying to get that league started again. To me its a waste of time. There are two football leagues that matter and that's the NFL and CFB. Nothing else will work. P.S. Nobody cares about the CFL. Any league that has a 55 yard line is to be laughed at and not taken seriously. Also that is Canada not America.

What was the most impressive drive of the 2020 Season?

As Doc Brown posted above the drive before half against the Colts in the playoffs. -

As a Bills/Isles fan I say congrats to the Sabres and their fans on getting the #1 pick. Hopefully they can turn it around. Everyone knows Buffalo is a great sports market. Even though it is known mostly for being a football mad city with the Bills and Bills Mafia, Buffalo is probably one of the strongest markets in the US for hockey.

The Bills are the most complete team in the NFL.

I agree with you. Beane and McDermott are very good at what they do. They have accomplished a lot in a short period of time. I also think they win a Super Bowl with Josh. -

I definitely think it will. Making a big play in the playoffs is huge for the team's confidence. That's a big part of developing a winning culture is by making big plays in the playoffs. Hopefully this year the Bills can make enough of them to win it all. -

I think our OL is average TBH. Josh's scrambling helps avoid sacks and we had trouble running the ball especially when its 3rd or 4th and short. On the other side I hope we do can better stopping the run. Star coming back should help there. I think we are set at the skill positions though. Can't wait until we kickoff another season. -

Yes you are correct. I thought it would be tougher being that it is a picture of him very young.

Making the playoffs in his first year (9-7) with that roster was impressive. I think it was his second year in 2018 that sold me. They gutted the roster for salary cap purposes and to get younger, and many of the "experts" thought the Bills would be the worst team that year. He still managed to get 6 wins out of a roster that probably had no business winning 2 or 3 games. I was sold at that point that we had a good coach.

What is the worst play in Bills history?
Greg S replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills missed a FG late in the 4th quarter against Miami in the 1979 opener. They lost the game 9-7. That kick would have ended the streak. -

That was a painful one as well but wide right was for a Super Bowl championship.
