Sorry I can't post the link but in today's NY Daily News they do nice story reviewing all the QB's the AFC East. To no surprise they say Allen is the best and its not even close. They have Wilson last because he hasn't played an NFL game yet but they think he could become the #2 QB in the division. They were not klnd to Cam or Tua.

Obviously the Bills offense runs thru Allen and the passing game. The biggest concern with the run game is can it be effective when we need it. For example 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 and we need to convert for a first down. So many times they failed in short yardage situations in recent years. Also what happens when its getting late in the 4th Q and the Bills have the lead and the ball. You are going to want to run it to control the clock. I expect the Bills will be leading in most of their games in the 4th Q this season. Having an effective run game would really help here.

I see your point. Maybe that is to strong of a word but the 20th ranking was mostly because of Allen. Maybe underwhelming is a better word.

They are not wrong. Allen was the most effective runner and that's a problem when he is your QB. With the exception of Allen the Bills running game sucked.

Just like the Isles did when they hired Lou Lamoriello to be President/GM and bringing in Trotz as coach. You can't compare the NFL to the NHL but finding the right people to run the organization is the same no matter what the sport.

Only RB to rush for over 2000 yards in just 14 games. Sorry Eric but OJ has the real record for most yards in a single season.

Any chance they sell the team? They have owned the Sabres about 10 years now or so. If they haven't figured out or accept the reality that they have no clue then they never will. You would think given the success of the Bills that they would want the same for the Sabres. Given that its Beane/McDermott who are driving the Bills bus that they would want to find the right people to do the same for the Sabres. If Terry and Kim can bring a Super Bowl and Stanley Cup to WNY then they will be treated like a King and Queen forever in WNY.

Speaking of uniforms I went over to the The Gridiron Uniform Database site and the Texans just released their entire home uniform schedule for the 2021 season. They are the only team to do so but I would imagine the league has the uniform schedules for all teams since the Texans just made there's public. Probably see more teams do the same as we enter July. As we know the Bills release there's on a weekly basis and usually a few days before the game.

Looking back if Ferguson didn't have to play that playoff game against the Chargers on one leg, I think the Bills would have had an excellent chance to win it all in 1980. So it could have been Knox as well.
