  1. The Cards kicked their ass pretty good. If the Bills contain Henry they should win. I thought that last year and we all saw what happened.
  2. That's right. They lost week 1.
  3. I went over to the uniform gridiron database website and I wonder if the Bills are doing away with the white over blue. Most of the Bills road games have their uniforms posted. Road games at NE, TB, NYJ, JAC,KC all show the Bills wearing their all whites. Only NO and TEN haven't been announced. One home game vs NE on Monday shows the Bills wearing the all white throwbacks while NE is wearing their all dark blues. Home games vs HOU, ATL, CAR, NYJ are all wearing white but the Bills haven't posted what they are wearing yet but obviously it will be either blue or red.
  4. Maybe next year McDermott will give the starters more preseason action then they got. The Steelers played their starters somewhat this preseason including Ben. I know last season their was no preseason but that was for everybody. This year some teams played their starters more than others. The Steelers certainly did over the Bills. That helps shake off the rust and gets players used to playing football again as opposed to not playing or playing very little.
  5. Well he was a Jet so I get the Bills hate. But calling any team a fraud after a week one loss is dumb especially against a good team like the Steelers.
  6. If Pittsburgh's defense kicking the Bills O-line's ass means "Josh was confused" then alrighty then. Tampa Bay "confused" Mahomes in the Super Bowl by doing the same thing. Ditto the Giants twice vs Brady. See a theme here. If Manning who was one of the smartest QB's to ever play the game would have been "confused" with that kind of pressure as well.
  7. Is Green Bay a fraud as well?
  8. Didn't the Chargers leave because there stadium was a dump and they couldn't get a new one built. I can't see that being an option. Plus the fanbase in SD wasn't all that great. It was better than LA is but still not that great.
  9. I am sure there will be. Also having Kathy Hochul (a native WNY girl and Bills fan) makes this is the perfect time to get a deal done so shovels can go into the ground. You know she doesn't want the Bills to move on her watch as the most powerful person in NY.
  10. Which is why Beane hopefully improves the OL this offseason. I know the Bills scored over 500 points last year but I still would like them to be more balanced on offense. Think Cleveland. Mayfield while not as good as Allen can still make all the throws but they can also run the ball down your throat with Chubb. Granted the Bills don't have a RB as talented as him. If teams had to respect the Bills run game then think of how much more dangerous the Bills passing game would be. A better OL goes a long way in accomplishing this.
  11. Mahomes may be the best QB in the league but he also gets lucky a lot with his improvising. Last week after Cleveland went up 29-20. Mahomes then throws up a prayer which gets caught for a 75 yard TD pass on the very next play from scrimmage. He literally just threw it up there like a hail mary play. Cleveland has to stop that. It should have been stopped. That particular play was more lucky than good.
  12. I know the "any given Sunday" thing but if the Bills can't beat the Texans at home then what kind of Super Bowl chances do we really have.
  13. Pitt is also a good team. They started 11-0 last year, have a future HOF QB who while not in his prime can still make plays. Tomlin is a very good HC. I thought the Bills would win a close one but I am not surprised they lost. Pitt has a good D that caused problems for our offense. Its not like we lost to the Jets here.
  14. The one thing an 0-2 start would do is it would make getting the #1 seed almost impossible. The AFC is loaded with good teams. I expect the Bills to win the division but an 0-2 start probably has them playing on WC weekend. First things first get a win this weekend and get to 1-1.
  15. Week 2 I would take NE over the Jets. Belichick against rookie QB's. It's Wilson's turn to see ghosts.
  16. If they lose to Miami then they will have to find a way to get a split in the B2B road games at KC/TEN. I expect them to beat a Fitzless WFT and hapless Texans team at home in weeks 3 and 4. So if the Bills win Sunday then there is a very good chance they are 3-1 heading into KC for SNF.
  17. I know they say they won't renew but if push comes to shove I think they will renew on a year to year basis or a short term lease until its gets figured. I believe the Chargers and Raiders did that for the longest time when they were in SD/OAK. While those teams eventually moved I doubt that happens here. Everyone knows how important the Bills are to WNY. The Bills are Buffalo and are one of the main reasons Buffalo is on the map nationally.
  18. I agree the sky isn't falling and I still expect the Bills to get around 11-13 wins. I think its Allen who protected the OL with his scrambling and ability to avoid the rush. Our run game wasn't very good last year either. This is a discussion more for the offseason than now but I hope Beane looks to improve the OL for 2022. My pick for this week is 24-20 Bills and they will be in a 3 way tie for first around 4:00 Sunday afternoon. Since the division is playing each other who do we want in the other game Pats or Jets? For me I live in NJ so I deal with obnoxious Jets fans all time. Wouldn't mind seeing them drop to 0-2 just to shut those ****er's up even though I hate NE as well.
  19. The solution for this offense will have to come in the offseason. No matter how this year plays out Beane must improve the OL. Last year it was average at best but Allen's ability to escape the rush made them look better. If game 1 is any indication it will be more of the same especially against physical defenses.
  20. I think they also win but I don't know about easy. They are playing in their home opener even though Bills fans will represent well. They will want payback for the beatdown the Bills gave them last season. Division games are usually tough. I will say 24-20 Bills.
  21. If the Bills are who we think they are then they will be 1-1 sometime around 4:00pm Sunday afternoon. If not then time to re-think the expectations for the season.
  22. No surprise. Once he was practicing yesterday you knew they had a deal in place.
  23. Today's New York Post is giving the Bills a lot of love today with the picks preview. Many of the "experts" are picking them to either win it all or represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
  24. The one good thing about a Cowboys loss is you won't have to listen to Michael Irvin on Inside the NFL next week ranting and raving about how the Cowboys are Super Bowl bound.
