  1. Things can change but right now in the AFC I would have the Ravens as the favorites followed by the Titans. They impressed me by going into LA and dominating the Rams without Henry. The Bills are in the mix but being one dimensional on offense hurts their chances.
  2. It's going to be an interesting offseason for sure. Beane has a lot of work to do in fixing the OL and upgrading the RB position.
  3. After the Jags game I can't imagine anyone would pick the Bills in a blowout win right now especially with a high school level OL.
  4. Just say Mike White. Everyone knows he will be starting. He is their best QB right now. I seriously doubt they put Wilson who has struggled out there against a strong Bills defense. Also the Bills should be out for blood this week to erase yesterday's embarrassment.
  5. They also lost to the Giants at home. They are up and down and given their QB situation that isn't that hard of a game anymore. Of course losing to the Jags means every team the Bills play will be a challenge.
  6. If we do get in I hope TEN and BAL play each other. These are the two teams that I think would give the Bills the most trouble. It would be nice if one of them knocks the other one out. That's way down the line. Just beat the Jets at MetLife is all I want for now.
  7. I could see the Browns D giving Jones fits as well. I think Cleveland has a good chance to beat NE.
  8. So he wants to go to Seattle. Makes sense as Wilson is an excellent QB who can get him the ball.
  9. If the Bills can't beat a Jets team whose QB is Mike White then they aren't nearly as good as we thought they were.
  10. And Walter Payton. He was a one man gang on some bad Bears teams in the 70's.
  11. 3 playoff appearances in 4 years say otherwise. Beane and McDermott aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Besides do you trust the Pegula's to find a better GM/HC? You see what they have done with the Sabres the last 10 years or so.
  12. The Jets have two teams left on their schedule (Bills and Bucs) who they will probably get up for. I could see them treating this as their own personal Super Bowl so the Bills better be ready to play this Sunday. I am sure they would love to hurt the Bills playoff chances since this is a rivalry game.
  13. Didn't NO lose at home to Atlanta. The Bills losing to the Jags so they can't take anyone for granted but given the Saints QB situation I wouldn't call that a hard game anymore.
  14. Probably will see a decent amount of blue at MetLife this Sunday. Drunk Bills fans mixed in with drunk Jets fans. What could possibly go wrong here.
  15. Football is a week to week thing. If the Bills beat the Jets and they should. At the very least I expect them to be focused and take the game seriously which is something the Jags players said the Bills didn't do. If the Browns beat the Pats then next Monday we will all be singing a different tune instead of the gloom and doom we see right now.
  16. I hope you are right but I just don't have confidence in this group. No matter what happens this season improving the OL has to be priority #1 for Beane this offseason.
  17. Football doesn't work in the spring. It failed with the USFL and it failed with the NFL Europe league as well as previous XFL leagues.
  18. No credit for getting a participation trophy
  19. Another one was in 1992. Bills were a 17 point favored at home against the Jets and lost 24-17.
  20. They both are at fault. Beane has to own the OL since he is in charge of putting the roster together. McDermott not having them ready to play yesterday and not making adjustments to what teams are doing now to slow the Bills down is on him.
  21. Actually I wouldn't bet this game one way or the other. After yesterday you would have to be nuts to take the Bills and give 13. On the flip side the Jets are a turd of an organization who got destroyed by the Colts. If the Bills offense that showed up vs KC and TEN shows up here the Bills will cover the 13 easily. But if it continues to struggle then forget it. From a betting standpoint stay away from this game.
  22. He throws a very impressive 3 yard pass.
  23. They played well yesterday but Stafford gifted them 2 TD's. The throw where he was about to take a safety was a stupid decision on his part. It was basically a pick 6 giving them the ball at 3 or whatever it was. Then on the next series he throws a pick 6.
  24. Nobody should be afraid of the Pats as they aren't the Brady led Pats but they are a good team. NE is very much in the mix for the division. Those 2 games against them will decide a lot.
