  1. Struggled against bad teams? You mean like losing to the Dolphins and Saints at home. This will be a tough game and it is close roster wise. Truth is NE really isn't in first place as both teams are tied in the loss column. 8-4 vs 7-4. Only reason the Pats are in "first place" is because they have played one more game. Have to give the Bills the opportunity to play their game when NE is on a bye. Bills have the much better QB and they are home. Bills mafia will be off the charts insane. Bills win a close one is my call.
  2. Actually its not really that surprising. They spent a ton of money in FA to shore up some weak spots. A few of their players who opted out last year because of Covid are back this year. They have done a nice job with Game Manager Jones. That said if the Bills bring their "A" game they will win. They will have to bring their "A" game because I expect this will to go down to the wire. Just like last night's Seattle-Washington game did. Only their won't be a million 3 and outs by the offenses.
  3. I think Brady was just as responsible if not more so. Who won his 7th Super Bowl last year?
  4. A nice birthday present would be a "W" on MNF.
  5. Per ESPN and New York Post. That's a lot of money for a 37 year old.
  6. It reminds me of when Jets fans kept saying Darnold is better than Allen. How did that work out? Game Manager Jones is doing well but he is nowhere near Allen in talent.
  7. When was the last time the Bills had this big of a game at home in front of 72,000? Last year's playoff games against the Colts and Ravens were bigger but that was in front of only 6,700. Throw in the fact that this is in primetime and I can't wait to see how insane the stadium will be on Monday night.
  8. Split with NE and beat the Jets and that gives the Bills a 5-1 record vs the Pats 4-2 in the division. Tampa will be tough and probably a loss. I don't see how the Bills secondary holds up against Brady and those weapons especially without Tre. The Bills can't afford to **** the bed against the Panthers, Falcons, and Jets all home games. Those are 3 must wins.
  9. Better in the trenches on both sides of the ball, better run game and I see at least one and probably more Lombardi trophy's coming to Buffalo with Allen as QB.
  10. Yes they did but they also had a much better OL then this group. They could also run the ball very well with Thomas. These Bills don't have that.
  11. When the Cowboys beat that same decimated Saints team this Thursday everyone will say "America's team" is back. What a huge win blah blah blah.
  12. I was watching the Bucs and Colts as I figured a banged up Titans team would have no shot at NE. From the highlights on TV it looked like a normal weather day. No snow on the field or anything like that. It might have been cold and windy but that's about it.
  13. This is where Beane deserves blame. Its absolutely crazy that the Bills who play their home games outside aren't built for cold weather and nasty conditions.
  14. Has NE had any bad weather games yet? Yesterday looked like a nice day.
  15. Playing at Alabama I doubt Jones has much experience playing in cold, windy, snowy conditions. If it is bad weather then hopefully he struggles in it. Beane deserves blame for not building a better OL. Its crazy that the Bills aren't built for bad weather games. No matter how the season plays out the Bills need to get better and tougher in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
  16. It's definitely going to be a tough game. I don't want to call it a must win but this is as close to a must win as you can get without it actually being one. McDermott likes to use the phrase "Defend Our Dirt" when playing at home. This week that is especially true. I don't want the Bills to have to go into NE needing a win to get the split.
  17. Ravens do have a tough schedule so its possible. at Pitt at Cle GB at Cin LAR at Pitt
  18. I think every team in the league can say that. It seems like every time their is a long pass and its incomplete out comes the yellow flag.
  19. While the NFC has a few strong teams the #7 seed is currently held by the 5-6 Vikings. There are about 7 or 8 teams who are in the mix for that last spot including a bunch of 4-7 teams.
  20. The Bills gave Allen a 6 yr 258 million dollar contract extension for games just like this. Time for #17 to earn that money. This is a statement game for sure.
  21. Broncos are coming on now. The SNF game next week is a good one with Denver at KC. Its the "warm up" act to Monday night's heavy weight bout.
