  1. If they get by NE then winning out is probable.
  2. At home against an inferior opponent I feel pretty confident the Bills will roll. See the Texans game as an example of that.
  3. See if I have this right. Chiefs, Raiders, Colts ( want a shot at the division so a Colts win here helps with that), Titans (we aren't catching them so might as well knock Pitt down as they have the tiebreaker over Buffalo), Bengals, Packers
  4. They could but its highly unlikely. Upsets happen. Pats lost to the Dolphins. The Bengals and Titans lost to the Jets. The Titans lost to the Texans. The Bucs lost to the Redskins. The Bills backs are against the wall. They are home and playing an inferior opponent plus they are coming off two heartbreaking losses. I think they are pissed or should be and they will win comfortably this Sunday.
  5. Same thing when Gase was the HC of the Jets and he wanted JD as the GM. How did that work out for Gase. I remember Pegula giving an interview and he said both will report to him but McDermott has final say on all coaching decisions and Beane has the final say on constructing the roster with draft/FA.
  6. The Ravens are in deep ****. I could see the Bengals winning that division now despite the OT loss to SF.
  7. Don't give the division to NE just yet. They have a tough one on the road against the Colts this Saturday night. If the Colts win ( a good chance this happens) and the Bills win on Sunday vs the Panthers then get ready for a week of hype with the 8-6 Bills at the 9-5 Pats and a battle for first.
  8. With Trubisky I still think they beat the Panthers. Cam sucks, no McCaffrey and the Panthers were "impressive" in the 29-21 loss at home to Atlanta. The Bills will definitely need Josh vs NE however.
  9. The good thing is they control their own fate. The schedule is pretty favorable with three at home and one on the road. The Bills will be solid favorites in their home games. Today's Daily News has the Bills as a 9.5 favorite over Carolina.
  10. Does Rodgers have a twin brother?
  11. I am just looking at next week. Give me a Colts win at home vs NE and a Bills win. The Colts can definitely beat the Pats at home and the Bills SHOULD beat the Panthers at home. That sets up 8-6 Buffalo at 9-5 New England with first place on the line in two weeks.
  12. If they lose to either the Panthers, Falcons, or Jets the season is over IMHO. They need at least 10 wins to have a shot at the playoffs. I would love it if they can go into NE and get a win. They are capable of doing that when they play up to their ability as the 2nd half yesterday showed. I am just not confident they will do that. They can't "F" up their home games and expect to be in the playoffs.
  13. I think they could win this week with Mitch. I know the Bills have their issues. The Jags game showed anything can happen. Cam is a shell of his former. They don't have McCaffrey. Josh or Mitch their really is no reason why the Bills shouldn't be 8-6 by around 4:00 on Sunday afternoon. They are the better team. They are home and desperate for win. This is a must win if they want to make the playoffs.
  14. Fans can want McDermott fired all they want. Bottom line is 3 playoff appearances in 4 seasons, a division title, and a trip to the AFCCG. Both he and Beane will get at least one more year to fix this. No way they get fired. Not gonna happen based on the success of the team the last 4 years.
  15. Their is no real dominant team in the AFC. I don't think the Bills would get embarrassed but I am not confident in a playoff run to the Super Bowl either. With that said give me the playoffs. Get in the tournament and take your chances. Going thru 17 straight seasons of no playoffs was terrible. Give me Bills football on WC weekend. Besides playoffs or not we aren't drafting in the top 10 so might as well root for the playoffs and see what happens.
  16. The schedule is favorable at this point. 3 home games left vs what should be easy games and one tough game at NE. Just looking at this week the Bills despite their issues should still beat the Panthers rather comfortably. If they play the Panthers like they played the 2nd half yesterday then it will be a blowout. My prediction here is if Josh plays then Bills 42 Panthers 17. if its Trubisky then Bills 31 Panthers 17. No excuses not to be 8-6 by 4:00 Sunday afternoon. Let's hope the Colts can us a favor and beat the Pats on Saturday night.
  17. Lack of a good OL and lack of a running game continue to kill the Bills. Josh shouldn't be the "running game". Defenses know we are one dimensional so its easier to defend the Bills especially in the red zone when everything tightens up.
  18. They needed to score the TD at the end. Once it went OT I wasn't confident at all. I almost wished they would have lost 27-10 instead of coming back. At least that way you can say they got their ass kicked and get over it much better than having a heartbreaking loss which is what it turned out to be.
  19. Thank Beane for building him a "great OL".
  20. They could probably beat the Panthers at home with Trubisky if they had to. I hope Josh is healthy enough to play but if they have to go with Mitch it wouldn't be the end of the world here. They absolutely have no shot at beating the Pats in Foxborough without Allen however.
  21. The Kansas City Chiefs say HELLO!
  22. That game becomes meaningless if the Colts beat the Pats and the Bills beat beat the Pats. Of course Buffalo has to beat the Panthers, Falcons, and Jets. The Bills would finish with a 5-1 division record. NE would have 2 division losses if Buffalo beats them.
  23. If the Colts beat the Pats at home next Saturday, which is very possible, and your scenario plays out, then its back to back division titles for the Bills. Then we get at least one home game before going on the road.
