Who are we rooting for this Thursday the Chiefs or Chargers or does it even matter as it relates to the Bills?

Josh in a boot after Tampa game (now says he's "good to go", no effects)
Greg S replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are going to need him at NE. He doesn't play in that one then we aren't winning. My guess is the trainers and Josh will do everything they can so that he can play on Sunday. If he does then expect Josh throwing the ball ONLY and all of the running to be done by Singletary, Moss or Breida. If the Bills get up big or Josh is really hurting then you will see Trubisky. -
Do the Bills have any 2007/2011 Giants playoff run in them?
Greg S replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Those Giants teams could get after the QB with their front 4. Guys like Strahan, Umenyiora, Tuck just to name a few. It was one of the main reasons they were able to beat the evil empire twice on the biggest stage. They made Brady's life uncomfortable in both games. -

The Pats lost to the Dolphins, Bengals and Titans lost to the Jets, the Titans lost to the Texans. Upsets happen all the time. Still the Bills should be able to beat three bad teams at home in a must win situation. No excuses as their backs are against the wall and they are fighting for their playoff lives. -

Panthers, Falcons, and Jets all at home. No excuses the Bills should win all three games. If they can't beat these teams in a must win situation then they were never really as good as we thought. The game at NE could be for the division and that will be a tough one to win but the Bills can do it if they play to their potential. Winning out is a definitely doable and most likely probable if they beat NE. -

I wouldn't mind red over white but the all reds suck. Same for the all blues. At the end of the day just win the game. -
Is this finally the year we make a big push for offense?

Have to see how Tre heals from his injury. How long does it take to recover from a torn ACL? Will he be ready by training camp? Hopefully he can come back and be the same player. I am not saying the Bills go CB in round 1 but that is a position that could be a concern and need for an upgrade. -

I think Allen will play. He reminds me of Kelly with his toughness and will play thru pain. If Trubisky has to play its not the end of the world. He has a lot of experience as a starter and he is capable of playing well. It's not like we would be throwing some useless scrub out there who would have that "deer in the headlights" look and wouldn't know what to do. -
He did. He just couldn't beat the refs.

Game Week: Week 15 Carolina Panthers at Bills thread

Winning three straight on the road in the playoffs is a tough task. I know the Giants did it that one year with Eli but I would prefer to avoid that for the Bills. Plus winning the division in back to back years is something to be proud of. Of course ultimately this group will be judged on how many Super Bowls they can win. -
Inside the 20 with a chance to win it two games in a row
Greg S replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are probably right but there really isn't a dominant team in the AFC. The Bills almost pulled it out at TB and the Bucs are considered one of the best teams in the league. If not for the BS non-call which was obvious then Diggs probably catches that for the win. The Parcells quote is true and 7-6 is 7-6. That is a fact. The Bills are capable of beating anyone when they are on their game. They are also capable of ****ing the bed like we saw in Jacksonville. -

Disagree. Root for the Colts. I want the division not a WC. I want the Bills playing at home on WC weekend not on the road. Of course if they get in as a WC that is fine as well but prefer the division. Think of it this way. If the Colts win on Saturday night then the Bills control their own destiny for the division. -

Allen reminds me of a bigger version of Elway. Gun for an arm and can run and scramble out of trouble. Also can run to pick up first downs. Lets hope Beane can build a better OL and find Allen's version of Terrell Davis to help him. -
You know what game makes me a little nervous. The Jets game. The Bills will need that game to either win the division or clinch a WC. Remember a few years back the Jets needed a win on the last week of the season to clinch a playoff spot and the Bills ruined their season by beating them. I could see the Jets wanting to get payback for that. You know the NY media will make a big deal of it leading up to the game. I realize the Bills are a much better team but divisional games can be funny since both teams know each other so well.

The play calling will be on Daboll and McDermott. But its all on Beane this offseason if he doesn't find a way to improve the OL with the draft and FA. -

To be fair to the Bills that non-PI call on Diggs probably prevents a TD. That is the most frustrating thing about that non-call. -
If the Lamar injury is serious then I could see the Bengals winning their division.

Both Saturday games are huge for the Bills then. Colts beating the Pats for obvious reasons. A Raiders win over the Browns is also huge for seeding purposes? Is that correct?
-
It definitely is in play if the Colts and Bills win this weekend. I can understand anyone who doesn't have much faith in the Bills right now. These last two losses sucked and were tough to take. I do think there is a good chance the Colts win Saturday and a great chance the Bills win on Sunday.

With Josh. Bills 42-17 With Mitch. Bills 31-17

Beating the Pats at NE will be tough. But the 2nd half yesterday showed when the Bills play to their ability they are capable of beating anyone. Almost pulling off a comeback against Tampa with Brady was impressive. They can definitely beat the Pats with Jones who is nowhere near the QB Brady is. They will have to play their "A" game. Anything less and they probably lose. Belichick's teams usually don't beat themselves with stupid mistakes.
-
Definitely want the Colts to win. Assuming the Bills win their own game which they should then BUF at NE is a battle for first place. I would like to see them win the division and get a home game on WC weekend.
