Browns reinforce their plans for Mayfield.
Greg S replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still waiting to see what kind of contract the Browns give Mayfield and the Ravens give Jackson. I am glad the Bills got their deal done with Josh. He is proving to be worth every penny. -
While its nice to score 50 a game it's just not realistic. There will be times when the Bills D will have to win a game and not just against bad teams with bad QB's. Look at how the Bengals got to the Super Bowl. Their D was opportunistic at Tennessee by getting turnovers that led to a win. They also shutdown the Chiefs in the 2nd half which allowed them to comeback and win the game. I get that the league is all about offense and scoring but you still need to play good defense. The Rams won the Super Bowl because their D kept them in it. For the longest time the Rams offense was struggling in that game.

Giants cap situation and potential trade options
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought his cap hit was around 12 million this year. I think the Bills will look to the draft for a CB. Wouldn't surprise me if that is where they go in Rd 1. -
Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

Gov Hochul is from Buffalo and a Bills fan so that can't hurt. She knows firsthand what the Bills mean to WNY. -

Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

You will definitely have the option to pay over time. I have Jets tickets and my PSL's are $5000 per seat. I have 2 seats. The Jets gave me the option to pay in one shot, pay over 10 years or 15 years. However they charge interest if you don't pay in one shot which is BS IMHO. Also my PSL fee is due Nov 1st. I am currently paying for my seasons right now. So the Jets do split the payments with seasons and PSL fees at different times of the year. I would imagine the Bills will do the same for their season ticket holders. That is a lot of money to pay in one shot for a PSL fee and most people will need to make those payments over time. -
Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham
Greg S replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Gronk is willing to come here at a decent cost then it definitely helps. He is a good blocker and another weapon for Josh to throw to. Also very good in the RZ. We have heard Beane say a million times he prefers to build thru the draft anyway. Most of the concerns the Bills have will be taken care of in the draft. -

You knew this was coming though. You know that saying about "S*** runs down hill". Guess who is at the bottom of the hill. -

I wonder what the PSL charges will be? My guess is lower level $2500 per seat and the upper deck $1000 per seat. -

New info leaked on Bills new stadium. Jason Wolf on Twitter: "Do not expect #Bills stadium deal to be announced this week. But it’s coming this month. Orchard Park. No dome. Covered seats. Grass field. ~50,000 PSLs & season tix. 2026, at the earliest. Ralph razed for parking. Public likely to pay >$1B of $1.4B cost. 🏟💰 @TheBuffaloNews" / Twitter -
Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham
Greg S replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would fire McDermott from a cannon into the Atlantic Ocean in a NY minute if it meant Belichick would coach this team. We would have been Super Bowl champs this past season with Bill in charge. He knows how to defend 13 seconds. The Mario Williams thread was the ultimate "legendary" status thread if I remember correctly. -

For the right price absolutely. He gives Allen another weapon especially in the RZ. -
Per the NY Post the Giants are also releasing RB Devontae Booker. He had 593 yards rushing tied with Barkley for the team lead with 17 fewer carries. It would cost 3.1 million against the cap this season.

What is the BEST pick you would trade for Saquon Barkley?
Greg S replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
As far as a connection with the Giants I wouldn't be surprised if they become a regular preseason opponent every year. Except in the year we play them in the regular season but that is only once every 4 years. -
Do what they do in the regular season then. Each team gets a possession. Only thing I would change is if the team who gets the ball first scores a TD then the other team would still get a chance with the ball which they currently don't get.

I really want Fitzy to come back for this season
Greg S replied to bubba2018's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would rather have Joe Ferguson back at his current age than Tyrod. -
Exactly. 13 seconds means there shouldn't have been an OT in the first place.

McDermott and Beane interviews from the Scouting Combine
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they are both good at giving what looks like a detailed answer but in reality they say nothing. Which is how it should be TBH. Have to wear the poker face with FA and the draft coming up. -

Greg S replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fair point but if I am Beane I am giving a 5th round pick at best. If the Giants say no then move on. -

None. Injuries have robbed him of his speed/quickness. This isn't the guy from Penn St anymore.
