South Beach is decent but has turned a little ghetto lately. Still there's lots of hot, half-naked women, which is better than tailgating. As far as football goes, Miami tailgates are lame unless it's the Miami Hurricanes. Those are fun and everyone agree with this. Dolphin fans are just not passionate about the team or the game experience. A few die-hard drunks here and there but nothing like the atmosphere at New Era.
The Hard Rock Casino is near the stadium and is a pretty good time on Saturday/Sunday nights. There's also plenty of action along most of the beaches from Key Largo up to Ft. Lauderdale with lots of little hidden gem beach sports bars to catch college games on Saturdays. It all depends where you are staying and if you have transportation. If you are near the stadium, it's just as good to hit the northern beaches unless you just want to hit on Euro and ghetto girls with PHAT bottoms. Then cab it to SoBe.
