  1. It’s easier to cut Von than Diggs is the real answer.
  2. What constitutes grace? I think Von is washed. I think he had a little left in the tank when he signed here, and he was probably the worst defender for the Bills post injury. I also thought Tre was done here after his second injury too. it’s nothing personal. Either you can still play or you can’t.
  3. He had to do this or his azz was on the street. This is exactly what happened with the tub of goo Star. Guess what? Cut a year later.
  4. It was just McD. Whaley was getting Pegula coffee and waxing his car.
  5. Hm, do you have a link? there’s certainly a LTBE and NLTBE, but I thought the teams are allowed to set whatever they want as the actual numbers.
  6. Well by your logic, that it was “possible” Tre White was back was quite a stretch. Because he ain’t back.
  7. Von took a cut, so I think he was in more danger of an outright release than you give him credit for.
  8. Thank god. He knew he was cooked if he didn’t take less. I know folks say cutting him was impossible, but players don’t take pay cuts unless they are on the block.
  9. They were very likely in negotiations which resulted in cold language at the presser, which means there was definitely a chance he was gone. Hilarious to say that was a stretch
  10. Save 6.7M this season though. Can you get a warm body to play that position for -$4M and put up Von’s production (1 tackle). I think so.
  11. The new Myles Turner’s. Real ones know.
  12. Stream of consciousness posting. It smells like the off-season.
  13. Right, those were all trades. You could play this game for everything. What Bills draft picks have led to Superbowls?
  14. Reading this topic is kinda funny. Never thought Dawkins was this untouchable asset that folks are up in arms about. the only one on the Bills that is untouchable is Josh. Everyone else can and should have a price, particularly the older guys whose best days are likely behind them. There’s no lifetime achievement award.
  15. I think on its face, it doesn’t sound that palatable, but there are some things to consider. 1. Dawkins is approaching the age where playing into shape becomes less and less viable. There aren’t a lot of fat old guys who are still playing at high level. 2. Spencer Brown’s contract status. Brown is younger and imo, more physically gifted than Dion, but obviously plays the less important position. If Brown plays as well as he did this year, imo he’s looking at top 5 RT money. I don’t think Beane and co can or even should pay BOTH guys. But I also don’t think Brown can play LT. Could be wrong, but that’s a lot of money to tie up in OT’s, and there’s only one guy who has a chance to play out a full 3 more years here. 3. Josh Allen’s scrambling. As important as LT is, imo the importance of the position decreases the more guys like Josh and Mahomes scramble. You see teams play patty cake with the tackles making sure they don’t lose contain. Most tackles in the NFL can consider that an easy pass block win. I don’t think the difference between the top 10 and bottom 10 LT’s in the NFL has ever been less than it is right now because of it.
  16. Let’s win three Superbowls and then we’ll start getting the benefit of the doubt the Chiefs do lol.
  17. The round drafted in or if they were originally an UDFA is completely irrelevant
  18. It’s essentially a first round pick. Beane is a wizard
  19. I don’t think I could handle another QB controversy after Jake Fromm.
  20. If that happens, straight to jail.
  21. I’ll be completely honest. If beane and co spend anything higher than a 5th on an RB, I will call for him to be fired.
  22. Sure, I’m not making any comparison about them as prospects. Just hard to shake the feeling that the 40 will get him drafted higher than he should.
