So would I. I guess I’m just saying the production is there and the eye test is there. What 10 WR’s do you have better than Aiyuk heading into 2024?
-
I think it’s probably fair to say he is projecting into the top 10 in the future. Lamb Hill St Brown AJ Brown DJ Moore Puka those were the guys with more yards than Aiyuk last year. And I don’t think Moore or Puka are better than him. Combine that with the 3-4 guys who will likely age out of top 10 status in a year or two (Diggs, Adams, Evans, Hopkins?) Aiyuk is definitely in the conversation.

I don’t believe that Mahomes is all about football all the time 24:7. I do think he works harder than Josh in the off-season. I also think he’s accomplished much more than Allen, as evidence by multiple MVP awards and multiple SB wins. If Josh rips off 3 SB’s and spends his time in the off-season gaining 50 lbs, I won’t give a crap because we are winners and we’ve accomplished the ultimate goal. It’s a tough look to be a 3x divisional appearance QB AND being out worked by the best QB in football whose won 3 championships. No one would complain in Chiefs land if Mahomes started taking it a bit easier. This is all obvious and congruent.
-
Hopefully we find out, but I’m getting more and more concerned we won’t. In which case I will continue to complain.
-
If Josh had won 3 SB’s, I wouldn’t complain about anything he ever did or didn’t do.
-
We are a couple days away from “it was voluntary, Josh didn’t do anything wrong by skipping a bit.”
-
Imagine how much better he would be if he conditioned himself properly. why be the best when you could be tenth best, I suppose.
-
If next years WR at #28 was going to be a better prospect than a WR at 41+ this year, this would be a good point.
-
If every Bills worked as hard as I do posting, we’d have 10 Superbowls by now.
-
True. what that DOESN’T mean is that they lost because they had Julio. Which is the point. it’s why @Alphadawg7’s points are so silly. “No one ever won a Super Bowl trading up for a WR.” Well guess what fellas? No one ever won a Super Bowl with a QB from Wyoming. Is it time to trade Josh Allen for picks to get JJ McCarthy?
-
This is where the silly argument in this topic ends. if you don’t think they lost BECAUSE they had elite WR’s, what the ***** are we talking about? The Bucs had Mike Evans, Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin, AND Gronk. Brady went their because they had a bunch of great weapons. They got a little bit older and Baker still got them to the playoffs. What? What?

We couldn’t afford Deandre Hopkins. Which is why we had Trent Sherfield’s dopey ass running 9 routes against KC and dropping passes. Thanks for playing.
-
The time to trade for a bargain bin WR like Sutton was last years trade deadline. If we didn’t have so many defensive injuries, he may have been our target

“I’m not a lawyer” man replies after futilely attempting to argue the law. Rashee Rice is going to be charged, processed, and released on bond. If you want to argue that doesn’t count as being taken into custody, you are welcome to continue to be wrong. You know why they told him to turn himself in? It’s so they could….. take him into custody. Brutal turn of events for the KC fan blinders.

All this ugliness would’ve been avoided if @Billl had just said, “wow, sounds more serious than I thought it was gonna be.” We would’ve all had a nice laugh and moved on. Sometimes, being able to laugh a bit and a little humility goes a long way. that’s why I strive to be humble and always admit when I am wrong (which is virtually never.)

I’m not sure. I think it’s on the board. I mean, Shakir ain’t posting videos. Diggs wasn’t posting videos. Kincaid ain’t posting videos. Knox ain’t posting videos. Trent Sherfield and Harty weren’t posting videos working out with Josh. Do I really think that they are all “afraid” to post workout videos like folks claim Josh is? Not really. Do I think Josh is flying them all down to Florida to work out and telling them they have to keep it off social media or he’ll be mad? Not really. Do I think them just not working out is more likely than those two scenarios? Yep.

All those bum Tim Settle-esque contracts add up. Pennies make pounds.
-
Do you think that’s unique to our fan base? Do you think that all of the other receivers that would or would not be at all these offsite work-outs (that we have no evidence exist), would also not want to post them on social media? Two explanations: 1. Josh, and EVERY SINGLE OTHER PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE HE WORKS OUT WITH are all actively choosing to hide every single indicator that they are working out together as a group. These Gen Z dudes, some of whom are making relative peanuts, are so afraid of social media that they do not want anyone to know how hard they are working in the off-season. 2. The workouts don’t exist Is #1 possible? Sure. Is #2 more likely? YUP.

How many Super Bowls did Trent Williams win? Is he not valuable because generational LT’s haven’t won Super Bowls?
-
2017 Eagles signed Alshon Jeffrey to the 5th highest WR contract by AAV in FA. You lose!
-
“Josh doesn’t post work out videos because he doesn’t like the spotlight,” guys in shambles.
-
also, a very funny comment considering the Browns drafted dynamos such as: DT Phil Taylor, fullback Owen Marecic, and quarterback Brandon Weeden. They packaged on of the picks in 2012 to trade up for Trent Richardson.
-
How many WR’s drafted in picks 15 -32 have made the Super Bowl? do you think there’s any correlation between players drafted by playoff or fringe playing teams and eventually making a Super Bowl vs players drafted by a crappy team not making it?
-
Do you think the Falcons lost because they had Julio Jones? Do you think the 2007 Pats lost because they had Randy Moss?
