  1. So you think the Bills have done a good enough job at getting WR's? Because of Cook and Kincaid? Is that the take?
  2. I don’t know? If i knew they were gonna be who they ended up being, I’d draft them a lot higher.
  3. You can draft WR's in the second round AND the fifth round. It's a pretty awesome feature of the draft. Go ahead and take out Skyy Moore lol, the math still doesn't favor us.
  4. We can compare all the picks if you'd like (not including playoffs because that's too much math). Bills WR production of their two fifth rounders: 49 catches 772 yards 3 TD's Chiefs WR production of their 2 seconds and third: 163 catches 1772 yards 11 TD's Yeah, looks like a landslide.
  5. Rashee Rice did a lot better. He had over 900 yards and 7 TD's. Another 262 and another TD in the playoffs. ~1200 yards and 8 TD's in a season? That's better than Shakir's whole career combined.
  6. No, but the Chiefs have spent: 1st 2nd 3rd 2nd on WR since 2022. The Bills have spent: 2nd 5th 5th lol.
  7. I'm going to watch. But I'm also not going to bend over backward to defend BB as doing a great job. He has crossed the Rubicon for me. Who did we lose? Latty Murray? The 60th rusher in the league with 79 carries? We needed to spend a fourth on an RB for that? Ookay. Day 2 picks are bad investments for RB's. Singletary, Moss, and Cook were all day 2 picks. You are right that Davis was a fourth. "So in 3 of the past 5 drafts the Bills have invested a 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick on a receiving weapon for Josh." If you think the Bills are investing enough in WR, there's really not much else to say lol. It speaks VOLUMES that you have to play pretend that Kincaid is a WR.
  8. 6 targets per game is 102 on the season. That would be 40th in the NFL last year.
  9. I don’t care about narratives, I care about reality. The REALITY is that our run game was good enough last season. The pass catchers were not. The REALITY is that EVERYONE knows day 2 picks on RBs is horrific value. Yet this regime has taken 4 in 6 years. The REALITY is this regime hadn’t drafted a WR in day 2 since Zay Jones 7 years ago. That’s ass backwards. This stuff is indefensible. It demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of positional value in the modern NFL. They are dinosaurs. Alec Halaby.
  10. I would keep McD and fire Beane. If the new GM wants a different coach, then sure.
  11. I think you have the wrong conclusion. Sure, a great running game can be a nice mismatch. But all those teams either got wiped or missed the playoffs because it’s not better than a great passing attack.
  12. I know this is news to Bills fans, but having 3 good WR’s to pair with your talented QB isn’t a problem. None of Chicago’s big 3 are available imo.
  13. Chicago just traded for Keenan Allen and traded for Moore just last year. you think either of them are now on the move? When they have a rookie QB to support? Dont see it, unless they take a page out of Beane’s book and actively avoid helping their QB.
  14. The 2022 Titans went 7-10 with the 28th ranked offense in points scored. the 2022 Colts went 4-12-1 with the 30th ranked offense in points scored. The 2022 Browns went 7-10 with the 18th ranked offense in points scored. These are the teams that brought a tough running game out?
  15. Part of me blames you for Mahomes. Not a big part, but at least 1%.
  16. “Josh, play like the GOAT QB” is a bad plan lol
  17. I actually don’t agree that he had a strict roster building plan. I think him and McD gutted the whole roster. And then you can sign or draft whoever you want because you have needs everywhere and you have a blank check salary cap wise. And to their credit, they put together a pretty good roster. The harder task is keeping a competitive core around your franchise QB when players get old, get hurt and have big fat contracts. That’s why their lack of understanding of positional value hurts so much more. It doesn’t really matter when you have $50M-$80M in space and you draft RB’s high or sign safeties to big deals. You need the talent more than you need the space. But they have failed to adjust as the salary cap belt has tightened. And we and Josh are gonna pay for it.
  18. I agree. Thats why Greg Rousseau played 122 more snaps this year and had 3 less sacks than last year. Because our problems were solved by just playing him more.
  19. We lived the drought and pre-drought. The smart teams invest a lot more than the Bills do in the WR position, this is a fact. The Bills have not been forward-thinking in regards to the WR position, this is a fact. The Bills have their value of drafting RB’s completely contrary to the market value, this is a fact. Josh Allen spent his last playoff game throwing balls to Trent Sherfield, which is not good, this is a fact. There are obvious flaws here. We’d all be better off admitting it.
  20. I agree he wont be fired. And I agree there’s a baseline competence that makes him and McD safe. If I was running the Bills and in a perfect would, I would fire him.
  21. This is the “Fire Beane” off-season. he brought his dinosaur team-building strategy from Carolina. Drafting more running backs than WR’s is fireable. There were some loyal soliders that thought Beane would “learn his lesson.” He hasn’t. They are going to treat Josh like Cam Newton and make him do everything. They have to go. Before they end his career prematurely. Josh is going to be 28 this year. Theres a chance he only has 2-3 years left.
