  1. A real shame that the offseason of Hard Knocks is dead because a bunch of ignorant folks think the difference between the Giants competing for a ring and the Eagles competing for a ring was Saquon Barkley. I get the clips were memed forever, but it was easily the most interesting and informative Hard Knocks ever.
  2. No one on those Bills led the team to a single playoff appearance. If your judgement on “great value” is if they led the Bills to playoff appearances, Hamlin is better than Mario. 100% outlandish stuff.
  3. Diggs for sure fell off a cliff. He is still a player in the NFL, but he isn’t 2020-2022 Diggs anymore. He was relegated to more slot duty in Houston because that’s where he was best served.
  4. The reason I have a boulder of salt about Jim’s 4 SB accomplishments. He played awful in those SB’s. 2 TD’s, 7 INT’s. 3/4 with a passer rating no higher than 67. He had multiple HoFers every year on those squads Josh has never had a teammate who is gonna make the HoF. Ever.
  5. The best thing going for offsetting Cook in this offense was the emergence of Ty too. I believe he had the highest EPA/target IN THE NFL or close to it. Which is nuts, even on low volume. Cook’s problem since being in Buffalo was his ability to be a 3rd down back. It kept him off the field as a rookie, and while he has gotten better, it’s clearly still not his strong suit.
  6. Bills fans want to underrate Josh and overrate Kelly because they don’t want to believe Kelly is the reason that we don’t have one SB title from those HoF teams and they don’t want to believe everything other than Josh is the reason we don’t have an SB with him.
  7. You think Marshawn Lynch is a very likely first ballot HoFer? lmao. He was up for nomination this year and didn’t even make it to the semi finalists. You know who did? Earl Thomas. Do you know what first ballot means? Do you have any bold font for your super bad takes that are just getting worse? https://www.seahawks.com/news/seahawks-legends-marshawn-lynch-earl-thomas-among-first-year-eligible-nominees-for-pro-football-hall-of-fame incredible stuff. Less wrong, less font changes, please!
  8. Your takes are very bad. In order to support them, you have to say clearly wrong things like, “the Seahawks had a great defense. Many teams had a great defense” in order to support your very bad takes. The Seahawks defense wasn’t just great, it was historic. Marshawn Lynch was a good running back for them. He wasn’t historic. In their Super Bowl year in 2013, he wasn’t even top 5 in the league in rushing. He wasn’t even close to the best running back that season. There are probably 5 players from that Seahawks team who have better HoF cases than Marshawn. You even went as far as to say “Their defense is the reason the Eagles won the Super Bowl this year. Not Saquon Barkley.” The Eagles defense made Mahomes play the worst half of football in his career, their defense outscored the Chiefs offense in the first half by themselves. Barkley at halftime had 12 carries for 31 yards. Yeah I’d say their defense is THE reason they won the Super Bowl Everyone understands this. It’s incredibly logical. I think there’s 50-50 odds your replies are AI generated.
  9. Uh. that Seahawks defense was historically great. Their 2013 team was the first team since the 85 Bears to have the lowest points allowed, lowest yards allowed and highest takeaways. They weren’t one of many great defenses. ***** just saw this.
  10. I mean how many QB’s on your list can claim to have 8 good games in a row?
  11. How folks continue to have this take is wild. The Bills made Mario Williams the highest paid defender in the NFL. His first three years here, he had 38 sacks and two AP nods. For context, Jerry Hughes in his 9 year stretch with the Bills has only 53 sacks. I hate it to break it to you, but Mario Williams is far closer to the best FA the Bills have ever signed than he is to the worst.
  12. I’m sure that game was a stellar defensive performance lol
  13. Nah you’re wrong. There are enough bum teams with money to burn desperate for a good player like Rousseau to hit the market so they can overpay them because they desperately need to improve their roster. Edmunds was the same deal. The Bears would more than willing to give him a massive deal that he wasn’t worth because otherwise they had cap space and nothing. A team like the Raiders or Panthers overpaying for Rousseau would be par for the course in the NFL. Thats the reason you let him go. It’s bad business overpaying a good player to outbid the garbage teams that will throw the bag at them.
  14. Yeah there’s no way any big money is being dedicated to the WR room now. They are gonna double down on Coleman, maybe Mack, Samuel and a rookie/cheaper vet.
  15. If only we had a couple All-Pros in the secondary vs KC in the playoffs one of these years.
  16. I call it a disaster because one of our big offseason WR acquisitions didn’t finish the season on the team, and the other finished 178th in receiving yards. I call it a disaster because our top 2 picks in the draft were both drafted with massive holes to fill on the roster and both failed to capitalize on the opportunity. So much so that we had to trade for another WR in October and had to start Damar Freaking Hamlin all year. “Results are all that matter” except for the results of players acquired not really being that good I suppose? It’s VERY telling that you have nothing to defend the offseason with. You have no ammo. No move to point to and say “this was a great move/deal/pick that made the team better.” You have nothing. Zero. Bupkis. So yeah, I’d consider that a disaster, relatively speaking. The 2024 seasons results had nothing to do with the 2024 offseason moves. It had everything to do with the 2018 offseason moves, which is why QB picked that season was the first player to win MVP and not win first team All-Pro in over 20 years.
  17. Nah it was. Josh Allen won MVP for dragging this crew to the AFCCG. You can tell me what homeruns we hit this offseason. I’ll save you some homework. Mack Hollins had 378 yards and 5 TDs and blocked very well.
  18. Would not trade with the Chiefs under any circumstance. They could offer us Mahomes for a 7th round pick
  19. Even more hilariously, they chose to prioritize DL and safety instead of WR last year. Any guesses where 3 of the biggest roster needs are today? The 2024 offseason was a disaster. The draft was a disaster. The big FA signings were disasters. And yet it was our best finish in 5 years and Josh won MVP. Football is hilarious
  20. I don’t see how it’s possible. We haven’t been able to get Mahomes off his first and second reads in the playoffs with multiple All-Pros in the back 7. We are not 1 offseason away from having a defense capable of what the Eagles did in the SB. Even if we got a Garrett or Crosby. It’s more insanity I fear.
  21. One plays running back and one plays WR. This is a good deal. That’s the sweet spot for a Shakir. Glad they made it work.
  22. Everyone thinks they can. The question you are failing to grasp is “do McBeane feel better about Coleman and also Bishop's future today or when they drafted them last year.” THAT’S what is being commented on.
  23. Ok now I definitely remember him talking about Cody Ford this way, which is kind of a bad sign ha. But it’s definitely higher profile because of the factors you mention.
  24. McD isn’t torching Cooper in his media pressers. That alone speaks to the difference in situations.
  25. Have you heard McD be so critical of a rookie player before? I haven’t that I can recall. I’m not sure he even said stuff like this about Elam.
