  1. It will be a bad decision to re-sign him no matter what lol
  2. Not worth paying for his rookie contract production beyond his rookie contract.
  3. I’m not talking about Chase’s deal. I’m talking about his talent. This whole, “we don’t know what the talent will be” line of optimism works to a point. But Shakir won’t be better than Chase. Samuel won’t either. Coleman is a wildcard but a probably not. So, using that line of thinking, the Bills are probably bottom 10 at best from a weapons-standpoint IRT talent. Thats not “enough” imo.
  4. 2022 was not “so-so.” They had to call John Brown and Cole Beasley out of retirement mid-season. That’s a disaster. It’s not about holding those past mistakes against Beane, it’s about recognizing a pattern. If a guy continually ***** up the WR position for 3 straight years, why should we have faith in year 4? Honestly.
  5. What is your definition of “enough?” Enough to win the AFCE? Sure. But that’s a low bar. Enough to make the playoffs? Sure. Enough to win a Super Bowl? Nah. Allen is elite. He can drag a bunch of bums to the postseason, I have no doubt. And while the future is unknown, there are some things we do know. We do know that Jamar Chase is better than Curtis Samuel, for example. And if every single guy of the JAG brigade matches their career highs, they still won’t be as good as Jamar Chase.
  6. I'm not one to carry water for other posters, but I stumbled upon this earlier. You can look at @BADOLBILZ track record above. He was right. Beane was wrong. Beane/Brady "know" what they want until they make obvious mistakes and folks like you will go "aw shucks, who coulda seen this coming?" lol He had MVS in his sights so clearly that he signed Quintus Cephus the day after the draft?
  7. Had to get our second round safety and backup 3T DT and backup RB baby!
  8. “I was given false information” is my new go-to legal defense. Incredible lol
  9. Listen man. Go ahead and list all the teams you think the Bills have better weapons than and come back to me once you can’t get past #9 without sounding insane. enough of this.
  10. You don’t say lol. So we are following the plan that has only really consistently worked with 2 teams that had arguably the two greatest QB’s of all time, along with arguably twonof the greatest HC’s of all time, along with arguably two of the greatest TE’s of all time. Welp, let’s hope for the best despite going 0/3 in those criteria. Oh man, 3/5. With all that investment, there’s no way we could have a destitute WR room and a gaggle of “weapons” led second best TE from the 2023 draft class.
  11. What year did Jimmy Graham win a Super Bowl again? The rest of the TE’s listed are the two best TE’s of all time. If Kincaid is a Jimmy Graham-type, that just proves he’s not enough to win a Super Bowl, following this logic.
  12. Stop trying to convince me to subscribe to bad strategies! The only way I consider paying Cook is if he starts catching 60+ balls a year.
  13. How many folks in this thread laughing at the Vikings loved the Diggs extension for top 5 money 2 years ago? 90% conservatively.
  14. The Green Bay approach was to draft 5 WR's over the last two years. Beane drafted 1 in round two. Probably not.
  15. Sure but they would probably trade us JJ and Addison for MVS, Claypool, Shakir, Kincaid and Samuel. 5 good targets are better than 2 great ones, or so I’ve been told.
  16. The best thing to do when you have a young QB is give him great targets so he can reach his potential. We did the exact same thing with Josh and Diggs lol
  17. The top 3 RB’s in scrimmage yards 2 years ago were Jonathan Taylor, Najee Harris, and Austin Ekeler. Ekeler is washed, Najee’s career has hit a cliff, and Jonathan Taylor hasn’t cracked 1k rushing yards since. DO NOT PAY RUNNING BACKS. IT IS THE WORST INVESTMENT IN THE NFL.
  18. The Vikings also have cheap good WRs. And they aren’t paying their QB Jordan Love money anytime soon,
  19. All I know is that Ive long complained about our WR investments for the last 3 years. The Beane WR strategy has resulted in: Extending Diggs 2 years before his contract was up because he was the only real talent in the room Relying on inconsistent Gabe Davis on a week to week basis Trent Sherfield whiffing on passes in the playoffs, resulting in a loss. Trading Diggs and absorbing the biggest non-QB dead cap hit in history. Honestly, I have already been proven right, imo.
  20. The way of the running back continues.
  21. I think every would agree a first, two 2nds, and a fifth is more than a second, two fifths and a 6th. Of those 4 players, KC’s easy.
  22. He didn’t draft Diggs. And yeah, I meant prior to this year. Here are the Chiefs WR’s drafted since 2020: 5th - Powell 2nd - Moore 2nd - Rice 1st - Worthy Here are the Bills WR’s drafted since 2020: 6th - Stevenson 5th - Shakir 5th - Shorter 2nd - Coleman
  23. I don’t think Coleman does. But that’s a personal opinion and he’s on the team so I’ll hope his the best Bills WR ever.
