  1. Could you imagine the debates on Dolphins' boards about this dude? He has a chance to be one of the biggest "what if" QB's in history. If Tua doesn't break his hip If Flores doesn't do the start/sit game If he doesn't get hurt 3 times in his sophomore year If they don't very obviously shop him for a much better QB who may never play again due to horrible allegations Thank god I'm not a Dolphins fan. Missing on a QB like this shouldn't set a team back 5 years, but it will definitely tear a fanbase apart for a decade.
  2. Sanders talks very much like a mercenary in regards to the Bills. Not a lot of "We's" and "us's" in his interviews. Maybe it's more because he's a newcomer but it is noticeable.
  3. Mahome's career: Superbowl win, NFL MVP, Superbowl MVP, All-Pro x3, ProBowl x 3 Allen's career: All-Pro x1, ProBowl x1 Allen can hopefully be that dude, and Mahomes is slumping right now, but you don't overwrite his first 3 seasons. Unfortunately, before Allen ascended to elite status, Mahomes won an MVP and a SuperBowl. Despite the last few weeks, Allen is still chasing Mahomes.
  4. It’s the chip on the shoulder effect. If Dilfer is a winner, Kelly is a loser. Can’t have that. If Mahomes is a winner, Josh isn’t (yet.)
  5. I hope Stafford wins it and we draw the Rams in the Super Bowl. Guaranteed W. The MVP winner hasn’t won the Super Bowl since 1999. MVP’s are 0-8 in the Super Bowl since then. Love those odds.
  6. There are definitely many ways to skin a cat. Philly comes to mind as a team that put all their chips in to win a Super Bowl and crashed back down to earth. The point is, we’ve been waiting for the Rams collapse for 5 years now. You cannot argue that they haven’t been a contender for the last 5. Maybe 3 years from now they suck and implode. But their strategy is absolutely working. Only one team wins the Super Bowl every year. Do you think the Bills are failures if we lose in the Super Bowl this year?
  7. Since McVay has been there, they are 50-22. How many teams have had a better record over that time period?
  8. How many Super Bowls have we won with our strategy?
  9. Why I oughta
  10. Huh? The Rams have consistently been a contender in the NFL since adopting their “mortgaging the future every year” strategy. And they’ve gotten even better this year. Every year we hear “they have no depth, they are crazy!” And every year, that’s wrong.
  11. My take? I don’t care if a divisional opponent thinks we run up the score on them or not. I don’t care if we are “classless” when we spank them twice a year. I want their locker room to be thinking about 5 years of ass whoopings for the next 5 years. I don’t want a rivalry. I want a little brother who knows he’s gonna lose before the clock starts running. The Pats had that with us for 20 years. 20 years of Bills players, old and new, knowing that the Pats had our number. Mental warfare wins in the NFL. I don’t think Brady and co waxed us purely because they were always playing that much better than we were. Looks at Aaron Rodgers and the Bears. They know they are cooked even before they play a down. That’s what I want the Dolphins, Jets and Pats to feel for every single game of Allen’s career. I want 5-1 or 6-0 every year in our division. And I want them to know that too.
  12. The Rams are a case study in how mortgaging the future isn’t real.
  13. Anyone who has played any team sport at any level remembers a guy like Isaiah on their team. He brings the team together.
  14. Yeah very easily done. This is why Tom Brady never wins anything. Very easy to make him crumble.
  15. Ask me after December 12th
  16. All y’all little jobs vibes. calling out the @Gugny’s of the world.
  17. This fan base embraced Rex Ryan’s retirement tour because “he’s going to make us relevant.” Buffalonians, just admit your a small rust belt town with a chip on your shoulder. It’s okay.
  18. It’s possible that Tua starts his path to be the next Tom Brady Sunday. I doubt it though. Mainly because the Dolphins are underachieving really badly, are banged up, and their season is in free fall. I suspect Tua will make some good plays, and some bad plays and the game will basically never be in doubt I think I would rather play the Dolphins than any other team in the NFL. They are cooked.
  19. This man is one step away from Aaron Rodgersing his whole family.
  20. do you really think this? I would be afraid of going after a 1st round pick so quickly available after an 800 yard rookie year.
  21. Deshaun Watson is a good example of a great QB who doesn’t have nearly the same amount of strength as Allen but has way more touch.
  22. I think Orlovsky was saying the reliance on RPO’s has made that offense more predictable to guard. They don’t run a lot of traditional 3 step drops. I think we see it a lot. Mahomes is bailing from cleanish pockets and not progressing through his reads to get to his check downs or get to the other side of the field. Defenses are keying in on this.
  23. Guys like Brady and Rodgers had down years too. It happens. If Allen has an 18 year career, he will likely have a season or two where he has 20 something TD’s and double digit picks. It won’t mean he sucks. It’s just a down year.
