He was 6th in targets last year, behind 8 games of John Brown, Gabe Davis playing part time and DEVIN SINGLETARY. He had 10 more targets than Isaiah McKenzie. Who plays like 20% of offensive snaps.

They won’t. Even if we acquired Ertz. They will be a 3/4 option at best. Diggs is the engine. Beasley is the caboose. More weapons are nice but no other player is putting up more than 600 yards if those two are healthy all year.

See I believe the exact opposite. Your goal on offense is to get the ball to the most dangerous weapons you have. If we had 50 more targets, I’d want at least half going to Diggs because he’s the most dangerous we have. Its like when we traded for Diggs. Some folks wanted him to “open up things for Beasley and Brown.” Not me. I wanted him to get 12 targets a game. Because that’s why you have a guy like him. And lo and behold.

Understand your point but WRT the bolded, this fails to account for the normal distribution of targets in our offense. Each new play or target would be scattered among our other receivers.

Coincidentally, when he was getting 9/7/16/12/6/9 targets in his last 6 games. Like you said, offensive skill positions were horrendous in 17/18. Almost all of their careers are all pretty much over. LT is the aberration. Good for him.

Kelce, Waller, Gesicki and Andrews had 9.8, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.0 YPT. LT had a nice season, but he's a product of receiving a boat load of targets, with QB's that struggle to attack outside defenses (Smith/Allen).
