  1. Hardman was a rookie last year. Cole and Brown are vets. Hardman has more upside than both.
  2. Fournette is a decent player, but not a home run threat. He plays differently than Singletary but he’s similar in that he can get you a tough 4, but has much greater difficulty breaking a 60 yarder.
  3. Stills and Fuller aren’t Thielen. Cole Beasley has had 3 games over 100 yards in two years. When Diggs is getting 10 targets a game, his numbers will likely go down, not up.
  4. Buffalo making the playoffs again has upped their status tremendously. Look at Digg’s reaction to Shady’s for example upon being traded. Adding a Clowney, approaching Jerry about a little team friendly restructure, and we honestly are a Super Bowl contender. I believe that.
  5. The upside is with them. Beasley and Brown are maxed out in terms of production. Both of their numbers will fall next year playing with Diggs.
  6. Gurley’s cap hit wouldn’t be that high, especially with a restructure. They would accelerate his guarantees. A trade will cost the Rams far more than the Bills in terms of space.
  7. Do me a favor and compare the 2018 Bears and the 2019 Bills and their QBs. There are some striking similarities.
  8. Don’t worry, there’s still all those All-Pros on the market and we have all that Calais Campbell money!
  9. I wonder if they will restructure in about 1 second like everyone else does.
  10. May make Njoku expendable? https://twitter.com/jfowlerespn/status/1239591571152089089?s=12
  11. The dead cap will accelerate to the Rams. Because they traded him. It will be easy to restructure. We see this all the time when players are traded with large money deals.
  12. The flip side is that Cooks gives you flexibility at 22 in terms of BPA. I would be okay with trading a third for him, going BPA at not necessarily WR in the first and second and then trading up in the third for another WR who falls. We would also likely restructure Cooks to spread out his hit a little more and give him some more guaranteed money in recompense.
  13. I think a 3 gets it done. Goff/McVay hasn’t been able to utilize Cooks as well as he should, and the emergence of intermediate guys like Woods and Kupp make him a luxury. Cooks has benefit to their offense as a field stretcher, but that’s a luxury that a team with a depleted talent pipeline may not be able to afford. BTW, I would 100% be in with our 3rd. If we go Tee or another WR in the first, and our group looks like Cooks, Brown, Higgins, Beasley as WR 1-4, we are easily in the top 12 in WR groups in the NFL.
  14. Shhh. BOB has only had 5 winning seasons, 4 playoff appearances, and 2 playoff wins since becoming the HC of the Texans 6 years ago. He also has a better record as an HC than McD. But folks will laugh because he made the playoffs with Hoyer, Mallett, Weeden, Osweiler, Savage and Yates at QB. What a terrible HC!
  15. Their season was basically over at that point, no? I know they started out 1-7.
  16. I would also send this years fifth for him.
  17. He won’t cost pick 22. He’ll be more expensive than that.
  18. I don’t see how Peyton Manning is relevant. I do see how you dodged the question.
  19. I hear you, but it’s not like the Ravens don’t know what they are doing either, you know?
  20. Ansah isnt Campbell but you know that. And Campbell is a 5x pro Bowler and All-Pro, his cute double digit sack stat aside. Who is the best DE on the market?
  21. Ngakoue isn’t a free agent. I’d rather give Patrick Mahomes $40M but alas.
