It’s possible that Tua starts his path to be the next Tom Brady Sunday. I doubt it though. Mainly because the Dolphins are underachieving really badly, are banged up, and their season is in free fall. I suspect Tua will make some good plays, and some bad plays and the game will basically never be in doubt I think I would rather play the Dolphins than any other team in the NFL. They are cooked.

Deshaun Watson is a good example of a great QB who doesn’t have nearly the same amount of strength as Allen but has way more touch.

I think Orlovsky was saying the reliance on RPO’s has made that offense more predictable to guard. They don’t run a lot of traditional 3 step drops. I think we see it a lot. Mahomes is bailing from cleanish pockets and not progressing through his reads to get to his check downs or get to the other side of the field. Defenses are keying in on this.

Guys like Brady and Rodgers had down years too. It happens. If Allen has an 18 year career, he will likely have a season or two where he has 20 something TD’s and double digit picks. It won’t mean he sucks. It’s just a down year.

When folks say "missed" usually they mean the player didn't work out. Like, the Bills missed on Zay Jones. If the Bills did everything the same, and Josh Allen sucked, there is no doubt McD and co would at least be on the hot seat. There's hundreds of examples in league history of a team tying themselves to a QB and getting fired when they suck.

That’s a great point, if Wyatt was anchoring our line and an All-Pro as a fifth, that would be a huge feather in Beane’s cap. Those kind of picks are what makes GM’s careers in the NFL.

Yeah yeah, we were waiting to see what Ford and Zay Day turned into. Diggs was already a superstar. Beasley was a good player (look at his contract) and Knox has played with Allen for 3 years.

Beane is yet to draft a superstar besides his QB. But that's a position that's worth more than the rest put together, so whatever.

I know ESPN and the media will throw together Henry’s highlights, and yes he admittedly is VERY fun to watch and very clearly a special player. I wish he was a Bill. But with one man to beat, a touchdown saving play was made last night by Micah Hyde. A play that won’t get praise anywhere. A play that he will probably get clowned for on TV. But if Micah doesn’t sacrifice his body to slow down Henry in the open field, that’s a TD. Instead, it’s a big gain cleaned up by Edmunds. I loved it. Would have been easy to go for the arm tackle business decision. Maybe you stop him, maybe he breaks it, but instead Micah threw his body in Henry’s way and took a big smack that almost certainly hurt him way more than it hurt Henry. I hope McD gives him his flowers today when they go over the tape. That’s a guy I can root for any day of the week.

The defense didn’t look shaky last week. Or really at all this year until the Titans. All things considered, our defense had a few bad Q’s last night. They got worn out by Derrick Henry. The most physical RB who is having the best couple of years by any RB ever. I wish our defense held him to ten carries for 22 yards but I don’t think there’s a defense in the league that can do that. Sucks. Oh well. I’m not worried.

They are a matchup nightmare. The game was closer because they had pressure on Tanny early yesterday, but after the D was gassed they LIT us up on the PA passing crossers. The way to beat Ten is to get an early lead. They are not equipped to play from behind. If we started that game 14-0 instead of 6-0 I think we win by 20. But if you let them pound you 20 times with Henry, your D WILL get exhausted, WILL get sucked into PA’s and fail to sustain a pass rush. Tanny had a sub 50% completion percentage until the mid third Q. Hes not a superstar QB but he’s smart and competent. 5 seconds to throw and a clean pocket and he will find the open guy.

Beat the chiefs, lost to them twice last year. Lost by one score by the Titans, got blown out last year. #2 WR is better than last year. TE is better than last year. Defense is better than last year. Bills 2020 record through first 6 games last year. 4-2 Bills record through 6 games this year. 4-2 Why would some say no?
