remember when we were like 30th in attempts and folks were saying Daboll let Allen throw too much. Lol Some folks overestimate the talent on our offense. They think a great QB and a great WR means #1 or #2 offense in the NFL, but unfortunately there are other great QB’s and great WR’s GROUPS in the league who are actually overall better than the Bills talent. We may be like 4 or 5 in offensive talent in the NFL, tbh. Maybe even 7.

This isn’t even unprecedented in recent memory. Remember the Jim Tomsula era in SF? A glorified DL coach got hired to be HC after Harbaugh walked, and was subsequently canned after a year. Plus there are reports that Culley’s contract wasn’t guaranteed past two years. If that’s true, he should have known EXACTLY he was the guy up until they found someone they wanted.

The Great Irony was that wasn’t Watson’s biggest gripe not having more say in the coaching decisions?

I do believe it’s possible because it’s the NFL.
