Is it time to be concerned about a lack of 4th Q heroics?
FireChans replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is basically it. I don’t expect to win every close ugly game. But we haven’t won a single one. There’s a lot of issues on offense and on defense, but when we had two red zone possessions at the end, I thought we would win. I still expect to win if it happens again. And we aren’t winning them. Josh earned that expectation last year. He was clutch. He is not this year. Still plays great, still a huge part of the reason we are even alive in these games. But he hasn’t delivered on the magic. -

No one said it’s all Josh. Read the OP -

Great stuff. I don’t know if expired is the right word but it’s not our year in that dept for sure. -

Sure. But sometimes bad things happen, the team plays bad, and someone has to step up to win the game. Hasn’t happened this year. -
You are welcome to think he will win the MVP this year. But he won’t.

So over the last two years, Josh has 8 GWD. How many GWD or 4th Q comebacks do we have, as a team, this year? I want to say zero. I think it’s zero. Obviously, it’s not all on Josh. The team chokes away all of their good chances. But we haven’t won an ugly one all year, and that’s the difference between good teams and bad ones. We don’t get the bounces and we don’t pull wins out of our asses.

MVP’s pull rabbits out of hats. We lose these types of games all year.

I think they would try to flush, but the toilet is already full from the Colts, Jags, and Steelers games. Maybe it’s time to admit they are just full of *****.

Yes a truly defensive master class

We are days away from “is this our bickering Bills moment” posts.

OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?
FireChans replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty much this. Infixable in the middle of the season. Can’t have 4 OL be bad and win games. -
We couldn’t get a winning streak going against the Jags. Bet the under

I don’t know why they are so mad at the question. Bill Belichick just called them embarrassing for 60 minutes by running the same play over and over daring them to stop the run. They should be ***** embarrassed.

Yes, we have 5 games where the Bills looked like they had the chance to be great. A couple tough losses and a couple pantsings and embarrassing outings. This team is full of weakminded bullies who can beat up bottom feeders but time and again they get tight and get clowned in games against competent opponents. 1 win against teams with a winning record. JOKE
-
Not semantics. Nor good. If you watched tonight and thought, “wow this Bills team is good with a potential to be great,” call your OPHTHALMOLOGIST
-
Great teams win MOST of their close games. What’s our record in 1 score games? We are not GOOD.
-
GOOD TEAMS WIN CLOSE GAMES. WE ARE NOT GOOD. PERIOD.

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake

Break out the Edmunds report when they allowed the game winning TD. -
Time to Question the toughness of this team?
FireChans replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This team hasn’t been tough all season. Everyone was pumping up this game because it was our last chance to prove we were. We aren’t. We are playoff team. A wild card team. And that’s as good as we are. We are for sure going to be a first round exit if we even make it at all. -
Josh stared down Gabe and lost the game on the final play.
