  1. They have had double digit wins in 6 of their last 10 seasons. Their worst record was 1 game under .500. Like I said, much ado is made about the cap. Every year they were supposedly in cap hell. Whether they went 7-9 or 13-3.
  2. Lol Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have a $30M cap hit because he needs 3 superstar WR’s. Devin Funchess is a starter in this league. The two WR’s have shown something, the one was on IR all year. They may like their weapons and not see the value in getting a Gabe Davis. The Packers are simply not 1 player away, whether it’s a WR in the fourth or one in the first.
  3. They drafted two WR’s last year. They signed Funchess. They have Davante Adams who is already a super star. Rodger’s does not have zero weapons. They are hardly the 2018 Bills at WR.
  4. That’s just how it goes. Teams in or about to be in significant cap woes, are the Pats, Rams, Eagles, 49ers and Chiefs. They all have something in common.
  5. I would love to know what late first round player prevents GB from getting their teeth kicked in and embarrassed by the 49ers. What mythical rookie player is stopping the 49ers from rushing for 300 yards?
  6. The Saints have had “the sky is falling” cap articles written about them for about a decade and they’ve been fine.
  7. Down or worst years? That’s not how it works. Their performances fluctuate every year. Wilson’s last year was not a down year. Wilson passed for 26 TD’s as a rookie. In his third year, he passed for 20 TD’s. Hardly “elite” numbers and extremely distant from his “down year” last year. I don’t expect Josh Allen to have an “elite” performance next year. He just needs to have a good season. Wilson, Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes all had good seasons last year. None of those teams are panicking about the QB position after those seasons last year. They all performed well enough to be playoff teams and Super Bowl teams. That’s literally all I care about. I don’t need Josh to have a Matt Stafford year where he leads the league in TD’s and it’d be really silly to expect that.
  8. Who are elite QB’s? Watson has 33 TD’s last year. Wilson had 34 last year and 35 the year prior. Who is your comparison?
  9. Lol that comparison was drawn on here a few days ago. Let’s hope the result is better.
  10. Lol, this cap problem is a product of them winning a Super Bowl. And it’s not a real problem.
  11. If you polled Eagles fans after 2017, I think they would rather be Bills fans after we got all of that sweet sweet cap space.
  12. Yeah I think that was more out an outlier than anything tbh. I think it’s very likely that Allen’s TD production remains unchanged and the rest of the team catches up. Another huge difference between the Bills and say the Chiefs is that they made 12 more FG’s on the year. More drives and more RZ opportunities will beget points.
  13. You can’t see Singletary and Moss combining for 8 or 9 TD’s this season?
  14. I don’t think folks realize that big gaudy TD numbers are kinda down around the league these last few years. The Vikings had the 8th best offense in points scored and Cousins had 27 TD’s. The rest of his team had 18 on the ground. Which also means that Diggs having 6 TD’s, the same as John Brown, may not be a huge additive portion as well. In 2017, 30 TD’s would have been at the top of the NFL, 6th or better. 30 TD’s has been consistently top 12 to top 8 in total TD’s across the season. Josh doesn’t have to have 40 TD’s for us to have a good offense, although it would certainly help. What matters more more is the number of red zone trips and sustained drives. We need to get close more. The TD’s and points will come from there.
  15. 18/39 for 150 and a pick type QB situation?
  16. He didn’t like getting offered $4M more? He absolutely didn’t owe them the comp pick, I agree. I just don’t get why he’d be so spiteful after a (failed) hold out where his contract demands were proven to be completely unreasonable.
  17. Yeah if you’re pissed at an org for offering $10M when the best deal you could get on the open market was $8M, then you’re an idiot.
  18. But the Chargers were 100% right, which is why he was signed for way less than he was holding out for. Should Robert Foster try to screw us if he asks for $12M per?
  19. Just for anyone keeping score, Gugny edited all these at the conclusion of the 2020 season.
  20. Because Josh had 7 more rushing TD’s than our RB’s each individually. I see his rushing TD’s dropping. Fair point about Singletary actually, I didn’t realize he had 200 yards recieving. I probably should have just done rushing total. Diggs well, we’ll see. We can revisit the topic next year and see what was what.
  21. I didn’t see anyone not figure it out it meant ranking. But like I said, for those of you who found defense o/u 3.5 in points allowed terribly confusing, I edited the OP.
  22. If only there was another number that might have made sense, that literally every other poster in the thread was able to deduce on their own. Very well, I will edit the OP and humor you.
