Maybe this is a hot take but I think the Colts are probably the team I’d pick to win in the AFC if everyone lost their starting QB. Not saying this isn’t a blow, but I don’t expect them to look like the Ian Book Saints now.

The Bills are quietly the hottest team in the NFL

Why does obviously dumb stuff have to be upvoted? Devin Singletary is better than Thurman Thomas. Upvotes because it’s a Bills board amirite? You should have walked back to a reasonable perspective before hitting “post.” -

Wow beating up on bad teams? Good thing we don’t do that. -

Brian Daboll deserves a lot of credit today.

There was 48 seconds left, they weren’t trying to kill clock….. If Josh gets 15 or 20 there, they call time out and go for points. If he doesn’t, the half is over. Josh is our best runner, especially when it comes to chunk plays. -

What play calls did you think were bad? Don’t we have the worst running game inside the 10 in the NFL? I think we got bailed out by Josh being such a threat down there for the last few years, we could basically run throw to Diggs, the flat and if they aren’t open, Josh tuck it and run. Defenses key in on Josh as a runner so hard in the red zone nowadays. That’s BD’s job to adjust, of course. -
Should he be pencilled in as the backup? no.
-
He’s not the backup because one dude had one good game.

The Sanders and Kumerow drops kept the Pats in the game unfortunately. The call to Kumerow was masterful, dude was without a defender within 10 yards and flubbed it. -
Patchwork OL. Banged up receiving group. Some absolutely head scratching performances (Sanders and Kumerow in the anti-clutch department). we still put up 30+ against the best defense in football, and had ONE drive not end in points today (outside of the victory formation). He called a masterful game. I wonder if McD will think twice about benching an offensive weapon like McKenzie again.

Players don’t miss games for personal reasons usually unless someone died. So that’s enough.
-
Do they need to sign a WR?
-
Did COVID cause us to lose to the Pats the first time? Or the Jags? Tim Graham deservedly caused flack because EVERY TEAM is getting derailed by COVID. Nice call.
-
Maybe that had something to do with 99% effectiveness vs whatever the number is now.
-
95% is still pretty good. Polio vaccines were 99% effective against polio.
-
That’s weird, because the initial Pfizer study’s primary conclusion was 95% protection against infection. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa2034577

They have been tested everyday and not been positive until week 16 when vaccinated and unvaccinated players both have been coming up positive around the league like flies. So yeah, it didn’t matter dude. People raging in this thread have a personal problem with Beasley and Gabe.
-
95% in Pfizer’s case but yes. So basically all we needed was herd immunity and Cole and Gabe’s decision didn’t really make a difference then
-
But theoretical risk and realized risk are different right? Is this risk realized? I would argue no. Beasley and Gabe will have missed one game. Dawkins has missed, Feliciano has missed etc etc.
