How dare people have confidence? Firechans demands you take up a suitably miserable demeanor!

You can be confident without being arrogant. I guess after 20 years of watching Pats fans act insufferable after winning Super Bowls, you’ve decided to act the exact same way after we lose in the Wild Card round lol.

Great point.  College coaches don’t care about their long term future.  They just want to win.  Some of these rbs are broken before they can get drafted.  I also think corners could make it at a younger age.

but it comes to a larger point.  Why can every other college student pursue their careers whenever they want?  Why can other sports, except football and basketball?  Do I think most freshmen could survive in the nfl?  Hell no, but they should be allowed to have the chance if they want.

Because the NFL said so. Start your own league if you don’t like it.

I didn't say a thing about Jackson in the playoff game.  And why do you care what Bills fans say about other teams?  What team are you a fan of and whose team board is this?

As for what I'd be saying if Allen went down for 3 games and Edmunds went out for 14, I'd say they probably would have lost those 3 games Josh missed anyway because of how the defense performed and that Edmunds' loss had an effect but that disappointingly the coaches failed to compensate. .

And you saw how Stidham played in the brief time he played last year, right?  I would take the Jets' backups, but in reality, none would have won a single game.

Lol, if Allen had beaten the Jets backups, we wouldn’t even be talking about how he played “lousy,” we’d be calling him a winner who “got it done.”

Every board homers a little bit for their team. That’s expected. The Jets fans think the Jets are good and the Bills aren’t good. The Bills fans think think the Bills are good and the Jets aren’t good. That’s why they play the games. Trying to convince a Jets fan that Allen is better than Darnold or a Bills fan that Darnold is better than Allen is just dumb.

Bills fans are weird, they complain when we don’t get love and respect from the national media. Then when we do, they don’t like it and would rather go back to being the forgotten underdogs.

I find it embarrassing that some fans start acting like we won the Super Bowl last year because we got bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Just because Tom Brady left NE doesn’t mean we can act like we’re the Pats until we actually have won something.

Brady routinely gave the Patriots a top 5 QB with a upper midlevel contract. Dak hypothetically would be coming with a top contract and costing big time draft capital. So I wouldn't see it as a move that the Patriots would make anyway.

He wouldn’t cost draft capital as an FA. Also draft capital is overrated. The Pats dominated picking in the 30s and drafting mediocre the entire run.

That’s such a weak argument. We don’t know what will happen with Chase Young until he plays a game technically. He is WAY more likely to have double digit sacks than he is to have less than 5. I don’t need him to play a season to realize that. I can look at the skill set and project. It’s the EXACT same with the QBs. Again, we aren’t projecting them to be Patrick Mahomes. We are projecting them to be better than Chad Henne!!

It’s not that the young guys can’t handle it on their own. They just want to make sure that they don’t ruin such a big investment by throwing him into a bad situation like the Bills did with EJ. I don’t think that he was ever going to be good but they did him no favors.

If Rodgers went down tomorrow for 1 year the Packers would be way better off with Love than those teams with the scrub vets. It’s the opposite of what you’re saying in a lot of ways. I’ve seen enough of Matt Schaub to know that, at 39, he’s not dangerous. The rookies are all potentially dangerous. They will ABSOLUTELY make more plays than the scrub vets because they have more talent. In a scoring league, you need need your number 2 to be able to generate points still. The playmakers can do that.

    Talk that ***** son!

Packers should not be that high. Who even knows if Love will be good? In fact they ranked a lot of the rookies too high.

Can't argue with where they have the Bills. I was kind of hoping we'd sign Mariota or Dalton. They are good backups who have won a lot of games and have playoff experience.

“When it comes to highly drafted rookies, like Tua Tagovailoa, Jordan Love, Justin Herbert, and Jalen Hurts, their long-term value to their respective teams was given additional weight. They might not be as good of a backup right now as some established veterans, but the fact that they have the potential to morph into something more gave them added value whereas we already know established veterans like Brian Hoyer and Chase Daniel are solid backups at their absolute best”

Dak is underrated for sure, but he is also beatable. The Bills already showed they can handle him, but yeah, pairing him with Belichick would be interesting.

Lots of good QB’s are “beatable.” All of them in fact. Dak with an absolute bum HC in Garrett is already a star. Dak with the GOAT HC is 10 more years of winter.

This raises my eyebrows and makes me wonder if the league still plans on making them a relevant team.

No reason why they should be getting these marquee games given they have no players fans want to see and a not good offense.

They’re doing it to bother Bills fans who thought we arrived as the most popular team in the world.

They need to get rid of him now before it’s too late!! He’s going to poison the locker room. Clearly he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo and I say good riddance. We need more guys like Fred Jackson and less guys like Zach Moss. We need guys that WANT to be here!!

Chris Kelsay and Donald Jones would have never treated us like this.

I agree except pretty much all those turnovers we had in the first half were fluky as heck. One bounces off of Beasley right into the hands of Mosley for a TD?? One fumbled snap?? Another tipped ball I think? Bills dominated the game in yardage. That's why eventually once we stopped shooting ourselves in the foot we came back and won.

Oh no doubt. Play that game 9/10 times and we win it. Play that game with the Bills coughing up 4 TO’s and 9/10 times we lose.

Your mind is obviously as confused as Kemp's. I haven't mentioned Biden in any posts in this thread - and rarely mentioned him in any posts in any other thread.

Hopefully, your mental confusion is from lack of sleep and not something more structurally permanent. Get some rest and get well soon!

Lol this was a good burn. @Deranged Rhino I see the pupils are excelling.

Not bad for a 7-9 team that faces the Saints twice.

I hope Marsha gets thumped in front of a national audience all 5 games

A 7-9 team with a QB who threw 30 picks last year, and they added the GOAT at QB and then traded for one of the best TE’s in NFL history out of retirement.

Easy money they’ll be a pretty entertaining team to watch, and likely will win more than 7 games.

The WRs and TEs now scare no one.  Neither does Stidham.  And there won't be a full off-season.

And that's why the Bills traded for Diggs and drafted Moss.  They were basically playing without a #2 WR or RB last year.

It's very likely Stidham will be even worse.

I don’t think there’s much evidence for that, but we’ll see. A passer rating of 45 in a full game is horrendous. Not as bad as a passer rating of 24 through 3 Q’s I guess.

You are wrong, two teams played under the same circumstances, and one failed to perform well enough during all four quarters, so the other team won, it just showed how bad the jets team was, that and injures are not an excuse, next man up.

You are ignoring 50 years of football history with this take. The Bills stole that victory, which was awesome. But the Jets fans are right, they should have won that game.

Also, injuries aren’t an excuse, unless Josh gets hurt in the 4th Q in a close game against the Pats, then it’s “we would have won if Josh didn’t get cheapshotted!!!!”

Forget it.   I can see you are the type of poster that will twist other posts to make your "hot takes" sound true.

You have all the right to believe the Bills will continue to play the Pats* bad this year.  I don't.

I didn’t twist your post, your post was just irrelevant. We only play the Pats twice. Brady’s cumulative stats over the year are irrelevant. I don’t believe the Pats will truly contend with the Bills for the division title, because as you said, Stidham being as good as Brady over the course of the year is unlikely.

HOWEVER, the Pats managed to beat us with Brady playing like absolute trash last year. If Stidham plays like absolute trash (or possibly better) against us, we may only win 1 game, because that’s what happened last year.

This is really simple logic, and it’s easy to follow. You’re welcome to disagree and believe Brady’s magic is the real reason we lost to the Pats in the first game last season. But reality tells us it was their defense embarrassing Josh and holding us to 10 points, along with superior ST play which earned them the victory.

I'm also so sick of hearing them say how they woulda won if Darnold wasn't dying of mono and how Mosley getting inured allowed Buffalo to come back in the 4th. The Jet offense did nothing that game.  They only scored because of flukey turnover.  We at least moved the ball on their defense pretty well, all game long.

Usually the team that turns it over 4 times loses. Winning that game was the fluke.
