he's gonna be on his 3rd team in 2 years. 4th team in 3 years. PU.

I really liked KJ Hamler in that draft, and I think you may have as well. Unfortunately he may be another Goodwin. Great athlete but not built for NFL life.

This class shook out to be kinda weird: Obviously of the first rounders, Ruggs is done. Jeudy is a disappointment due to health. Jefferson and Lamb have delivered. Aiyuk looked promising but had a weird drop off this year in the first 8 games or so. Reagor is likely a bust. In the second rounders, Higgins is a great WR, Claypool looks good if not immature, Pittman, Van Jefferson and Shenault look like starters. But now to our guy. Gabe Davis is currently the 10th highest in his class for receiving yards and second in TD's, not bad for the 17th receiver off the board. He's also 10th in catches, which means he is likely impacted by fewer targets than a lot of the guys above him. As it shakes out, Gabe may end up being one of the top 8 WR's in his class, probably outpaced by Jefferson, Lamb, Higgins and Claypool but right on their heels in the next group. He may end up being better than Jeudy if he doesn't get his body figured out.

Another Whaley gem? @Rico always fun how the solid starters end up out of the league after a couple years

He’s not good.

Applying context? I don’t understand. Tossing 3 picks in a row, including 1 to start the third Q after your other two led to points and allowed a terrible team to stay in the game and take the league is quite possibly the WORST context you could throw a pick in outside of a game-sealing pick with no time left. Let me put this in context, what if Devin Singletary didn’t have a good day and the Bills lost. Would we be sitting here and saying, well Allen didn’t pass the ball that bad considering the context? No. let’s put it another way. If Josh wasn’t so dang effective running the ball, his game would have been HORRIFIC, especially in light of playing a piss poor team like the Falcons. I would love to see what QB you believe had a worse performance than Allen passing but had a better passer rating .

Re-thinking the hiring of color commentators

I'm sorry but no. Collinsworth isn't the best, but his voice just screams big NFL game. Romo has been pretty good. I don't want to hear from some nerd about what football is like if he's never played. Stay on Youtube and stay out of the booth. Give me guys who have played on the field. -
Jerry Hughes’ Last Regular Season Home Game?
FireChans replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is Jerry's last run in the NFL. -
Tanking player are NOT going 100% lol
-
I mean, if you exclude all his bad plays, he didn't play all that bad lol. I really don't know why folks are so hung up on this. Allen's passing numbers were really freaking bad. His output was really bad. His passer rating reflects that. It's working as intended.

5 best NFL teams you’ve seen in your lifetime
FireChans replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall
The 2007 Pats were better than the 90 Bills. unless you died before 2007 and are in fact a ghost, then never mind. -
Someone explain to me how this is different than resting your starters or tanking?

BOB is a good coach and a terrible GM. Wouldn’t be my first choice but there is some merit in terms of proven winner.

Woah woah woah, are you arguing that Josh had a better game than Matt Ryan did “passing?”

Bills have underperformed this year by 2+ wins

Extremely true. This is why I keep betting tons of money on Sam Darnold and betting against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Because past performance is not indicative of future results. My wife took my kids. -

Really happy for Harry Phillips and Ed Oliver…

Well that's the example in the OP. Take your L for getting a ride on eball's sinking ship. -

Harry's play was critical of Harry. You don't have to believe everyone on the Bills is an All-Pro to be a Bills fan. -

@eball with a TBD Wall of Fame post. Phillips strings together a couple good games (and they have been good) after a disappointing body of work basically his entire career in Buffalo and everyone is "proven wrong." Of course, eball was probably patting himself on the back when Shaq Lawson starting playing worth a damn his final season, walked in FA because you know, a guy who has some good games doesn't entirely wash away a mostly crappy career, and of course, Shaq signs a big ol contract with the Dolphins and plays like the real Shaq, gets traded for peanuts to the Texans who then trade him for more peanuts to the Jets. Hell yeah, the fans are vindicated! -

Beasley wouldn’t be washed, he would be hurt. No idea what your #1 means. As for #2, 4-6 weeks is when you aren’t getting tackled on the football field every other week. Do you think ribs heal faster when you’re getting hit by NFL players? Doctors on Goodell’s payroll would love to see that data.
