  1. 30 more mins and we get to exorcise another demon. LOCK IN
  2. If I’m Babich, I prepare a second half game plan to flood zones if they stop running and just make Lamar be perfect.
  3. Get 7 here and let Lamar get in his own head and start prepping for KC
  4. Nah. Live and die with this. Don’t let them control the game. They will get some explosives but Hamlin backpedals a second faster and that’s LJ’s 3rd TO of the half.
  5. He is Peyton Manning. incredible in the regular season. Great vs WC teams. Inexplicably a disaster when it comes later in the playoffs against contenders.
  6. A drive absolutely STOLEN from us. Holy *****
  7. Me too. I don’t want them to let Henry run wild. Sell out to stop the run and I will take my chances on a Lamar vs Josh shootout.
  8. He won’t. its a huge mistake to adjust out of that defense. Shutting down Henry is the key. We can win a track meet. Need Babich to be patient
  9. Please don’t adjust defense. Please please please
  10. That’s the whole point. what Saquon is doing for the Eagles is immaterial to what he would have done for the Giants. Which is maybe get them 4 wins instead of 3. Mara wanted Daniel Jones.
  11. We lost to the Rams already.
  12. Philly losing 29-28 would hurt so bad
  13. Lmao. Saquon Barkley is the reason the Giants aren’t going the NFCCG. Now I’ve heard everything.
  14. "Looked closer at the stats. Mahomes is fourth in rate of RtP calls in the playoffs for starting QBs this year. J. Daniels: 1 game, 1 call, 1.000 per game D. Carr: 1 game, 1 call, 1.000 per game Kirk Cousins: 5 games, 2 calls, .400 per game Patrick Mahomes: 18 games, 7 calls, .389 per game Josh Allen: 11 games, 2 calls, .182 per game (both in 2020) Nobody else has over .150 per game, average appears to be closer to .120, maybe .140. so he is effectively 2.5x more likely to get a RtP call."
  15. If I had to do a "blame pie" Stroud gets the majority imo. He had next to zero pocket presence or urgency after that great 3rd Q drive. Every drive, he was patting the ball waiting and waiting. Now maybe Spags had everyone locked up down field all game, but I doubt it. And the coaches should have adjusted to help him out when he was getting killed drive after drive.
  16. So the offensive collapse in Houston is McD’s collapse, yes?
  17. Two things can be very true. The Chiefs can be beneficiaries of bad calls close to the tops of the league, particularly in high exposure or high leverage games. Fans that hate the Chiefs hyperfixate on those calls because they hate the Chiefs. The Pats used to get a bunch of garbage calls with Brady and co too. It’s the way the league operates. Reputation influences the refs like everyone else. It’s why Sauce Gardener getting a rep of being a shut down corner led to refs sticking their flags in their pockets early and often. It’s why Jerry Hughes would get flagged for celebrating with his team mates or whatever BS they could drum up. It’s why Josh and Mahomes get flags when they get looked at funny. I don’t blame the Chiefs for trying to get calls. I hate them for it because they are a rival team but I don’t blame them. And I love when Josh does it because it does affect the game. If the Bills get out of this weekend, the Chiefs game next week will be pretty fairly called imo, because we have a team with a closer perception to KC than any other in the league. The Texans don’t.
