  1. Yeah it’s called not being a ***** #######. More folks should try it.
  2. Your curse on the Josh Allen MVP train is real. The first year you don't open the season with the thread, our guy brings it home. Please don't start one next year lol
  3. We have a winner!!!!!!!! Johnny, tell the folks what they've just won!
  4. Drought brain McD and his defense ranked 29th in 3rd D% is the reason we are good, not the reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen is only great because of Mcd Take your pick
  5. Probably a timed tweet because Schefter posted the same image lol
  6. Meddling Mara. Tbh, that's the reason I think Dabs/Schoen are still employed. They did what the owner wanted and it blew up. He had enough grace to not pin it all on them and fire them when it was clearly a disaster. Like @GoBills808, that lucky season where the G-Men snuck in validated Mara in a way and put them in a really bad spot. I think the Giants have a brighter future today if they went 6-11 that year instead. It was a little bit different than the Bills situation where TT was actively quite bad at QB, had already taken a paycut, and was closer to the end of his career as a starter. The Bills were all aligned TT wasn't the guy, regardless of how 2017 ended. The Giants were not.
  7. He had a guy playing QB who was one bad year away from being out of the league.
  8. Yeah but that was Mara's mandate, not Schoen/Daboll. Anyway, its a pretty irrelevant discussion. You can have a great back or not. The only thing that matters is a QB. Bills fans should recognize this by now. With or without Barkley, the Giants are still ass without a QB. The Bills were ass with a lot of great RB's. The flip side of signing Barkley and letting DJ walk is that what if DJ blossomed into a Goff-level QB and their new rookie sucked? That would be even worse. They bet on Jones. They were wrong. But you never go wrong prioritizing any kind of stability at the QB position over literally everything else tbh.
  9. All winning a few more games with a Barkley does is push them further and further from the top of the board. The Giants, Mara specifically, made a mistake in mandating that DJ was his boy and that Schoen and Daboll were effectively married to him. Once that's the "plan," paying Barkley is a mistake. If DJ works, well you probably don't want to pay both. If DJ doesn't and flames out spectacularly? Having a great RB to win 6 games instead of 3 is drought era Bills magic. The Giants will try to find a QB now. If they succeed, all will be forgiven, if they fail, heads will roll. Especially because Malik will likely emerge as a superstar sooner than later with halfway competent QB play.
  10. Sounds like a drought era Bills plan. Maybe they could’ve drafted the next CJ to pair with Barkley.
  11. Alec Pierce numbers
  12. Solid work but IMO there's 0% chance Burden makes it out of the first.
  13. Didn’t we do this? Or was 2 All-Pro safeties, an all-pro nickel, an all-pro off ball linebacker and an all-pro boundary CB not enough secondary talent?
  14. The best we can do is a lightly used Mike Hughes and a day 2 pick.
  15. Go deeper. ”we want to move to Vegas.” ”fine, but we will need you to trade Luka to the Lakers for minimal compensation to save the ratings.”
  16. This is the reason it happened imo.
  17. Was that right before the clock hit zero and they lost? Are we really caping for playoff Lamar in defense of the Bills talent? We went in with the gameplan of “sell out to stop Henry, make Lamar beat us.” Lamar had 2 massive TO’s in the first half and went into halftime down 10. The guy with 4 picks in the SEASON had 2 TO’s in the playoffs. He’s a choker. It’s okay.
  18. Excuse me. we call that the Shaq Lawson, Reggie Ragland, Adolphus Washington draft around these parts. The REXIT draft.
  19. What oversimplification? are you of the opinion that Lamar’s turnovers weren’t a reason they lost?
  20. Imagine if we had a couple All-Pro caliber safeties, with an All-Pro Caliber slot DB, and an all-Pro caliber off ball linebacker. No chance we’d let up 38.
  21. Russell Wilson was a ProBowler in 2024 do you think that should appreciably add value to the Seahawks picking him in 2012? I’ll hang up and listen.
  22. Their QB is a notorious playoff choker and turned it over a lot. The bad news is WR was the strength of last years draft class and we are here.
  23. That’s very fair as someone who watched a lot of Chiefs games as well. They honestly played like they were taking a significant amount of snaps off across the board. but interior pass rushers took a real step back as a group in 2024 tbh. No AD. The usual suspects like Jeffrey Simmons, Quinnen Williams, Dexter Lawrence etc were all either on dog ***** defenses or hurt or just saw their level of play drop. Lawrence was actually pretty good statistically but his team and defense was so bad I kinda get why he didn’t get a nod.
  24. I respect your opinion but I think you are incorrect. Josh came in very raw. And young. Much higher ceiling. Keon is also very raw. Young. Much higher ceiling. Kincaid was not raw. He was old. There’s less room to grow when you come into the NFL at 24 instead of 21. You aren’t going to grow into your body much more. I think there’s a better chance Kincaid’s rookie year is one of the best years of his career than there is that he turns into an All Pro next year. It’s wild. Dorian “spinning like a top on HB misdirection” Williams is more talented than Roquan “3x first team All-Pro” Smith. Lol
  25. Yeah, I would consider it a significant disappointment that the pinnacle of the team with Josh Allen at QB is losing in the AFCCG twice. You had some clarity that this team wasn’t good enough but you are falling back into your old ways. Shakir is gonna be the next Antonio Brown sans the crazy, Dorian is better than Roquan, Kincaid is Tony Gonzalez and not a geriatric disappointing 3rd year player. What is next lol
