  1. Nobody blamed Daboll in 2021. That premise alone is completely wrong. He was the hottest coaching candidate in the league.
  2. Brady clearly needs to get the offense to perform better. Everyone can see the offense has major issues. Scoring 7 points for 55 minutes is not good, which we have done for multiple games. Getting outschemed or outplayed by bad teams is not good. Having massive execution issues is not good. They have virtually no injuries outside of Knox. If your opinion is that this is the third best offense in football, which is what DVOA says, I 100% disagree. If you say maybe that’s a little overrated, then you agree that stat is not correct and we are just haggling. We have a top 5 QB and a top 5 WR, in year 6 of the same offensive system. Rookie mistakes should still not be happening. And yes, that includes the players. You can’t fire every player. You fire the guy who coaches them if they all continue to play badly. What I LOVE is folks who point to EPA/play and DVOA and ALSO say that the players sucking isn’t Dorsey’s fault. If the numbers are great, I guess the players don’t suck either. Unless the numbers are wrong. Because of course they are.
  3. Exactly. TO’s matter. TOs in your own territory almost always lead to points. It’s like the statistic most correlated to wins and losses. not PI’s, not missed tackles, not penalties. This is wrong from 70 years of football data. I’m sorry.
  4. The first TO resulted in points against Denver. The first TO resulted in points against NE. TOs matter. They always have and always will. Yes, Josh is great. TOs aren’t great. TOs are bad. You are never gonna convince anybody otherwise because this is a fact.
  5. Exactly. Which basically means your point about McD doesn’t matter lol. We always have a chance with Josh and we have a better chance with a coach that can coach Josh
  6. They are all stops. More or less impressive stops, but stops nonetheless. If a team went 99 yards in 1 play and scored a TD with no time left, you’d blame the defense for not stopping them, right?
  7. Less miracle plays basically means a worse offense. What makes Josh special IS the miracle plays. It’s how he went toe to toe with Mahomes two years ago. A Josh Allen without the miracles is just a fine QB. Not a QB who can be the best in the league. That’s JMO.
  8. “Fire Frazier for sitting in soft zones. We need to blitz more.” ”Not like that!!!!”
  9. You only disagree because it doesn’t help your argument. A pass defensed on the goal line to end the game is a stop for everyone else on the planet.
  10. They had the ball and needed to score to win, and the defense didn't let them lol. Why are you trying to change the definition? If the defense tackled Russell Wilson and the Broncos ran out of time, that wouldn't be a stop? When Josh and the offense couldn't get out of bounds vs the Dolphins last year to kick a field goal, the Dolphins defense didn't stop us, we just ran out of time? What? What is your definition of a "stop?" They have to get the ball back for the offense to go victory formation at least once? What about putting them in a position to miss a field goal? Is that a stop?
  11. This was your quote and it was wrong. You clearly forgot the games they did make stops on. Was just trying to correct you.
  12. The way I see it, this is actually falling into place quite well. Joe Brady and McD have 7 games to keep their jobs. They fail, we can reset and hire Johnson. He declined HC interviews last year with the dogwater organizations, but nothing screams continued success like a franchise QB. They succeed, we can still reset or give them another year. And same thing as above.
  13. Would you want McD taking over the playcalling duties on offense too? The OL coach? Who else do you want? Bring in Norv Turner to change the system at Thanksgiving? Ben Johnson ain't coming over midseason.
  14. Well said. College game is just different. Can’t get a Super Bowl by telling FAs there’s a lot of good looking girls in town.
  15. Those were stops. They had an opportunity to stop those teams from scoring and winning. And the ball fell incomplete. That’s a stop.
  16. There’s exactly nothing wrong with running out of shotgun most of the time. Pancheco runs out of the gun a lot. It’s not doing it well that’s more problematic.
  17. It’s Erik Turner linking it and saying “we talked about this all the time” lol. Its baloney. What you say on the internet exists forever. These dudes ran cover for Kenny and talked up the advanced stats and EPA and are now turning around and saying “Exactly! He had to go.” It’s kinda funny. It’s not like they have special access they need to protect. Hard to be unbiased fans I guess.
  18. Was Knox the MVP all along? I thought he was being underutilized for two years now but he was basically ineffective while hurt.
  19. Meh, I watch a lot of FSU. Program turn around was more from scouring the transfer portal and getting bonafide NFL talent from all over. Jared Verse, Jermaine Johnson (last year), Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman will all be NFLers next year and some of them will be first rounders. Couple that with a weak ACC and there’s your undefeated season. That’s college though and that’s no knock on Norvell. I just don’t see it as some X’s and O’s Mastery.
  20. Um, they stopped the Giants and the Bucs. They also outscored the Commanders by themselves. I guess the defense is really 3-4 this season. With half of their players injured. Somehow this argument works only one way. Does this mean that Josh playing terrible and the offense turning it over a billion times makes the defense look worse? It would have to, right?
  21. Erik is a Johnny come lately. Cover1 boys LOVED Dorsey. They loved the advanced numbers. The EPA was SO GOOD GUYS. Pass.
