  1. Belichick would laugh it off with the media? Drop a couple “haha’s?” have we officially spun off the planet?
  2. I think we all know that 99% of Dunne’s sources are Whaley/Monos guys.
  3. “Throwing him under the bus” and “justified firing” aren’t really congruent things for me. When someone sucks, and you fire them, it isn’t some last ditch effort to pass the buck to someone else.
  4. The guy didn’t “point out the obvious,” which was that Dorsey was rightly on the hot seat. He said McD would throw him under the bus to save his own skin and insinuated that it would be an unjustified firing. Which is not really true. It would be like, today, saying “Watch, Terry is going to fire McD and make an example out of him so he gets a cover story for those alleged racist comments.” Ostensibly, it sounds plausible. But the reality is McD is probably just gonna get fired because he had a bad coaching year on a team with high expectations. Anyone who thinks #1 is much more plausible than #2 is because they are grinding out that axe, imo.
  5. CEH is horrible and McKinnon is out of gas. Pacheco was their only non-Kelce weapon. Would be surprised if the Chiefs score more than 2 TD’s.
  6. I guess what I’m saying is its probably a pretty unique scenario. It would be hard to anticipate. Because we’ve never seen it before
  7. do they need to have a policy? Honestly, have we ever heard of other teams banding together to give their position coaches lavish gifts? I haven’t.
  8. I thought the “Dorsey is next on the block” was a bit hackery. I think anyone with a brain had higher odds on Dorsey getting fired this year more than anyone else on the staff. And rightfully so with a bipolar offense that didn’t have a counter punch last year. That quote sounded really axe to grind like imo
  9. Probably because we are on the knife's edge of the most disappointing/worst season of McD's tenure and his job has never been more vulnerable
  10. He's just not that impressive. Bleacher Report was a crowd-sourced website and a joke for years. He worked at the Buffalo News and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. I'm not sure when he became a Pultizer winner in your eyes. He's back! Disappeared after a good Bills win, but flew back for this one.
  11. That’s pretty criminal with a healthy, decent group and who some call the best QB in football.
  12. I don’t think Ty Dunne is as respected as you think he is. He has been mostly very Pro-Bills in his career which makes him very respected around here.
  13. The “McD is just not that bright” take from @GoBills808 is looking fiery hot rn
  14. To this point, who is higher in the QB pantheon of all active starting QB’s?
  15. Okay. Here’s reality: Winning matters in sports. Rightly or wrongly. It matters. Folks will never hold Marino, or Rivers, or Kelly in the same regard as Montana or Brady. I know it’s a team sport, but the ultimate goal is to win. maybe that’s unfair, but that’s reality. Maybe once upon a time Chargers fans said, “hey, we think Rivers is at least as good or better than Brady, why is he criticized more!” We all know why. It’s obvious. You think Brady and Montana are better than Kelly and Marino. I know you do. You know why, too.
  16. And yet, you do carry those ways to view. And the NFL gets another fat paycheck from that streaming service for the rights. the NFL continues to do these things because they are a business, and when a business has an opportunity to grow and make more money, they will. If the NFL unveiled Tuesday Night Football from Antarctica, they would get killer ratings, we would all watch, and they would make money. It’s fiduciary malpractice to not expand when there’s an opportunity to do so.
  17. Riiiiiight, which is why your top 2 QB’s in NFL history are Kelly and Marino, not Brady and Montana.
  18. I’m not sure If Allen had two SB’s and 2 MVPs, he’d get a media pass too. this is really, “why is Phillip Rivers criticized more that Tom Brady,” the post.
  19. We saw this with the Saints for years. They’ve been in “cap hell” for 14 years. They still sign big FA’s. They still pay their premium players. And that’s with Brees retiring! If there’s some short term pain when Josh Allen retires, and we can still be flexible and acquire good players and spend our cap basically until then, there is no problem.
