They had a guy they thought had enough tools and the makeup to be the guy, he was relatively attainable in a deep QB class, and their starter was a HoFer but a thousand years old. It doesn’t matter. If they use a rip move, they don’t get a hold call. It’s in the rule book. I had no idea either tbh. Half of the blatant holds that aren’t called that we see are probably this.
