Am I the only one not planning on watching Chiefs/Ravens??

Nothing hurts more than a December home game when you’re mathematically eliminated. You just forgot how much it hurt.

Bills Last Great Defensive Lineman
FireChans replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
I fault Ed. It’s understandable, but like they say, you want to be a star, you gotta give me a star effort. -
They changed the voting system last year.

They would have in the playoffs. -

If only Jim Kelly had a HoF supporting cast. Also, in what context is more picks than touchdowns good? At dinner with Mark Sanchez? -

Jim Kelly’s SB numbers. 2 TD’s 7 INT’s across 4 games. Guy threw 21 TD’s to 28 picks in the postseason in 17 games. Troy Aikman in his 3 Super Bowl games, 4 TD’s 1 INT. Troy had 23 TD’s to 17 picks in the postseason in 16 games. Yeah, kinda clear who was the best here. It’s not surprising that folks who think Kelly was better in the postseason than Aikman also think Josh Allen is better than Mahomes. -

Manning would probably have more rings but not as many as Brady. Aikman for sure would have won us a Super Bowl, Jim was a choker. -
Who are your top 10 QBs in the league
FireChans replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh, Arians was a “not good enough” HC until he wasn’t. Doug Pederson quickly went from great coach to good coach to maybe fired coach. Harbaugh and Tomlin can barely win playoff games now. Even BB, the GOAT, has looked pretty mortal (although he’s old.) Everyone has Shanny in their top 5 and the guy hasn’t even won a Super Bowl. -

Okay so you agree that Mahomes was elite in that Super Bowl? You’re trying to have it both ways. -

Woah woah woah, throwing for 182 yards and rushing for 44 yards made Allen spectacular this week. Now, it’s some middling performance in the Super Bowl? -

Spags wasn't their DC in 2018. They had one of the worst defenses in the league. They went to the AFCCG anyway. Fair enough, Allen probably wins a Superbowl. But I think the Mahomes Allen debate is still close, not a 4-0 lead. -

Who is our all-pro corner? What are we even talking about? You also forgot Shakir making a tremendous TD catch. And Diggs didn't even lose his fumble, so don't forget Josh's fumble either. -

Poyer elevated this week, he made a game saving forced fumble. We just don't talk about it because we lost. Just like if Josh Allen gets the first down after missing Shakir in the end zone, we wouldn't be talking about Chris Jones who had one tackle on the night lol. -

As an aside, Mahomes in the postseason, when his defense allows 20+ points. 10-3 Josh Allen in the postseason when his defense allows more than 20 points. 2-5. It’s joever. -

Mahomes brought one of the worst defenses in the NFL to the AFCCG. Josh Allen has had a top 5 defense every year but one, and ironically that was the year he got to the AFCCG. -

Okay, I guess if Dorian Williams is a career bust and never shows any ability to start in the NFL, let alone a playoff game, you’ll retract this take? Seems odd to have so much belief in a player at this stage, but hey, do you. I’m sure you won’t just pivot to “another wasted defensive draft pick” tired takes. -

He’s just inevitable man. We heard “Mahomes has two HoF targets, but he’s been figured out!” They went to the Super Bowl. Then it was “he lost Hill, let’s see how he does now!” They won the Super Bowl. Then we heard, “this is the weakest KC offense we have ever seen, their best weapon is their running back and Kelce has lost a step.” They are in their 6th straight AFCCG. And they beat us. Again. It’s not much different than when everyone was eagerly expecting the end of the Pats when they would start out 2-2 and look out of sync, only for them to end up in the AFCCG again. At this point, I would be SHOCKED if KC wasn’t in the next 5/10 AFCCG’s. They are going to always be a deep playoff team. It’s inevitable. Will Josh Allen be in the next 5 AFCCG’s? Maybe. I doubt it. Allen is incredible and a wonder to watch, but at some point it stops being a coincidence.
