The Mack Hollins WR1 experience is not fun. I want off this ride.
What do BB and McD see in this dude?
This is like bringing in Jake Kumerow and giving him 10 targets a game.
I'm shook.
Say it LOUDER.
This is YEARS of gaffes and organizational malfeasance coming to roost. Reached their boiling point and hamstrung the billion dollar QB investment.
Also positional value being ass backwards. We have a great RB in Cook we took in the second. Offense is still a mess.
Traded back in the WR draft to get a second round safety. Getting abused early after not even winning a job over Hamlin.
Referendum weeks back to back.
In my defense, there was a 1 hr window between "problems with Doubs" and "Doubs suspended by the team" where I think GB could have been had for a late round pick.
Fair enough but the Niners themselves didn't view Aiyuk as that replaceable when they paid him.
I guess the Pats paid a couple OL guys in their day as well though. Certainly food for thought.
The thing is, great, cheap, attitude-free, young players are not commonly sold at the trade deadline.
You are going to ALWAYS be shopping for players who are a mix of old, expensive, and disgruntled.
Have we seen that play out similarily?
