Theirs is zero point zero part of the concussion protocol that cares about “what’s Josh Allen’s decision.” This conflation is amusing. We had people wistfully talking about how McDermott, a man of integrity, probably wanted to stop the game to protect Tua. And McDaniels, his sleazy HC, put him out there “knowing” he had a concussion despite his medical evaluation. Now it’s spread to, “well it’s Josh Allen’s own fault if he lies or covers up injury” lol. We can’t admit that the concussion protocol may have failed its only directive. I mean, sure it has before but that was THEN. This is NOW. We can’t admit that maybe Josh’s phantom chankle injury (that disappeared entirely) sounds a little fishy. No no no. I think there’s a middle ground here. im disappointed that Bishop didn’t take the starting job and never look back. If you are going to draft a low impact position that high, and punt on a high impact position (WR) so you can do so, I would really hope that he hits the ground running. all that being said, it’s early for Bishop and he has plenty of time to figure it out.

This is not true. He had a stretch where he was very good in-between 21-22 but has never by higher than 10th ever in FG%. He also has been horrific in the playoffs forever. He’s a 70% FG kicker in the postseason. That’s unforgivable. And he has a terrible NICKNAME!

This ends this discussion right? Beane admitted the WR room was a disaster when he dusted off John Brown and Cole Beasley’s corpses in 2022 midseason. Now that he has traded for Cooper, that’s a similar admission that the group brought to camp WAS garbage, that the mantra of “everyone eats, we don’t need a #1 WR” was total spin zone to forget that Mack Hollins and co are not quality NFL receivers, etc etc. The group got so much quietly better this offseason that after Beane took a $40M cap hit for a second round pick that he turned around in week 5 and gave away a third for an actual good WR. It’s ova.

#2 is really readily apparent. Po and Hyde got old, so it’s not like we miss their 2024 versions. But we absolutely miss their 2020-2021 versions. Rapp is a little bit more active but not great and Hamlin is an actual disaster when asked to do anything, even preventing a big play on his side of the field. Ideally, Bishop could take the starting job and become trustworthy in that role, but he’s clearly not ready, even in spot duty. I’m getting to the point where I would send him out there and if he gets abused so be it. Hamlin is not gonna be on the roster in 2025, and with this looking like a flawed team without true SB intentions, I would rather him take his lumps out there now.

No it’s not. His TD/TO ratio wasn’t even the best in the NFL. He had lots of TD’s. He also had lots of TO’s. He now has lots of TD’s without lots of TO’s. These are good things.
